Iâve been traveling for 12+ years and have never experienced anything like this. From the moment we arrived at Deva Beach Resort, the receptionist was cold and unhelpful. We asked for a paid upgradeâshe refused, claiming nothing was available, even though I saw rooms online. Only the next day, she said.
The room was disgusting: dried stains on the walls, black pillows, and a filthy bathroom. Our luggage was delayed, so we had nothing with us. We asked for toothbrushes and bathrobesâshe said the resort doesnât offer them. I asked for the managerâshe claimed there isnât one, only a CEO, and refused to give any contact. She wouldn't even share her name.
She didnât explain anythingâno info about breakfast or facilities. When I asked where breakfast was, she just said, âWalk ahead and youâll find it.â
After 3 hours of arguing, a ânew roomâ magically appearedâfor 100⏠more. This one had everything we asked for earlier, proving she lied. The next day, she laughed in our faces as we passed reception.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone a resort. Avoid Deva Beach Resort at all costs. It completely ruined the start of our vacation.
