It was a great to ve close to everything. The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable. The customer service was amazing. The shopping is in walkable distance. The restaurants are also in walkable distance. The drive to the beach is about 5 min. We loved it.

A typical tourist place in Costa Rica. Many staff did not have a smile on their faces. I reserved two rooms. In one we had five people. The resort only provided two keys per room.

The property has some of the best views in the area, however the rooms we stayed in were a bit outdated and worn, but large. Also they were set far back from the main pool bar area. This made it more peaceful though. The hot springs have many separate areas to enjoy as a couple or group, just wish the swim up bar was bigger. The breakfast buffet was nice, but they had more options 2 years ago. The only issues we had was despite having a restaurant and a pizzaria at the bar, other food options required us to head into town. Over all we'd stay here again.

The room was excellent, comfortable beds and very spacious. The room door was not isolated very well, allowing the sound of crickets and birds to enter the room (which was nice) but also allowed the sound of the cars, motorcycles and general traffic to come through at night. The bathroom had a funky smell, probably due to heavy rainfall, but considering the region the hotel is in, that should not happen.

This is our second time at Los Lagos. We are big fans of the pools, beautiful property, and impressive breakfast buffet. We got a larger room set up with additional beds this time and the location plus views were lovely. We really enjoy Costa Rican hospitality everywhere but have nothing but great things to say about the service staff. We will be back!

Excellent place for families! This is our 3rd stay and every time has been fantastic. We love to breakfast buffet and all the hot springs. The canopy tours with the on site company are fantastic and our daughters had so much fun on the Tarzan swing! Highly recommend this place for families!

The property was beautiful. The hot springs and pool area were large enough that you didn’t feel like you were all over other people. The cleaning staff made cute towel animals everyday. The restaurant on site was fairly priced and the breakfast was amazing with tons of options. So many things close by and on site to keep the whole family busy-We loved it here!

It was beautiful! Traveled with family. The kids loved the pool, hot spring and waterslides. The grounds are gorgeous! Don't miss the mirrador at the top of the property. It's a gorgeous view of the volcano and lake. Food was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close to everything we needed as well as lots of restaurants. Highly recommend!
