Nice view, friendly staff. Decent rooms but poorly lit bathrooms and poor quality TVs. Gets dark out early so would have been nice to have a little bit of TV available later in the evening. The property looks better in pictures.

The director at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and very unpleasant with clients. I tried to communicate with them for weeks beforehand, but never received any response. The room smelled extremely bad. There was visible mold in several areas, including the bathroom and near the A/C unit. The air conditioner itself was completely contaminated with mold—one of the dirtiest I have seen in a long time, and I work in HVAC. Additionally, the balcony door needed to be replaced, as it was impossible to see through it due to its condition, meaning you had to open the door just to see the volcano. The pictures shown of the property do not accurately represent reality: the place is much older and in not so good condition.

The pool area has a gorgeous view looking out at the mountain and cows in a field. The rooms were nice and clean. Good breakfast selection, wish they had more juices. You do need to make breakfast reserve in advance. Multiple private jacuzzis and pools. Would stay again.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly our whole stay. We enjoyed the many offerings from buffet breakfast including pancakes, made to order omelettes and fresh fruit. The room was a decent size with a large bathroom and felt very private. We especially liked the balcony and could sit out in the rain to watch the birds and look down at the beautiful gardens.
It rained the whole trip but the pool bar looked fun.
The gardens were well maintained and added an enchanting touch.

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Loved the patio! Bathroom shower was great, but lighting not so much for makeup. Breakfast was included and it was good but you had to remember to call the night before for reservations. Also they serve you at the buffet I assume to control food waste, so you just need to be patient.I did forget to make reservations one time but they accommodated us no problem. The pool was really nice, fantastic view of the Arenal volcano. The only con was that the hot tub water was very dirty.

Great breakfast including an omelette station. The room was very clean. But sadly all tvs at the hotel were having a problem with signaling. All channels were fuzzy and they were not able to fix it.

I appreciate the staff holding our reservations as we experienced flight delays due to inclement weather. Security checked us in after hours very quickly and had keys ready to escort us to our rooms. Very clean, really good door seals to keep humidity out and efficient AC. THANK YOU!
