We booked two rooms. We were told via email that our rooms would be available at 3pm. Only one room was available, and then the other room wasn’t available for another hour. We had spent hours traveling with young kids so this was not favorable. We finally got our other room, and it was on the second floor, completely away from the first room. The whole point of booking together was to have rooms together. Our toilet didn’t flush properly in our room on 216. On the bathroom near the lobby, there was a tampon just laying on the floor. The pool was overly chemically treated… or under but definitely not right. The staff was nice enough, but didn’t seem to be available when needed to assist with any issue we had. I won’t be staying at a comfort in again nor will i recommend this location or hotel to anyone.

The only thing I liked about this property was the area it was located in and the immediate accommodation when there was an unpleasant scent in my room upon arrival. I was moved to the upper level which was the third floor suite 301 with a very low stitch! suite was nice and big. The Elevator stink of mild dew and dog as will as the cafeteria and fitness center I found that out the next morning. It is a pet friendly hotel but should not smell like dog waste and urine. When I walked to the cafeteria there was a signed that said no pets but there were people with their pets inside the cafeteria grabbing food with their dog in their arms and while sitting at the table eating. I could not eat and I could not workout!!! I was upset that I had to cut my visit short and did not get refunded as stated by management from having to cut my visit short. Due to the unpleasant smell that roamed through out the ENTIRE hotel. I had a very upset stomach and headache! Everytime I left my room that came on and off.

Room needed updating, curtains were stained, very humid and musty smelling, bed was saggy, sheets wouldn't stay on the bed. Bath didn't drain well when taking a shower. Breakfast was just okay, no variety and not well stocked. Close to where we wanted to go and good parking.

While the overall condition of the Lake Geneva Comfort Suites was fine, we stayed on a particularly hot weekend. Our room smelled and felt like a musty basement, everything a bit damp. It kept us from relaxing or spending any extra time in the space. Parking was also tight when returning late in the evening, forcing us to park on the pull up circle outside the front door. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was as expected. We just wish the inside felt temperature controlled.

Family trip

This hotel has a great pool area with a nice hot tub and a splash pad area for kids. It’s very easy to get to this hotel. It’s located close to stores and downtown Lake Geneva. The room is very spacious. The staff is very helpful, but we did have to ask for several amenities that were not already in the room. Hidden gem at this hotel is the laundry facility that is free for guests!! Breakfast each morning they had two flavor varieties for waffles!
