When we walked in, the room had a smell as if there was something left wet and then dried. Come to find out, when we would shower, the tub held all it's water. Wouldn't go down until a few hours later. We called the front desk 3 different times throughout our stay, no one came up. We had to shower in that dirty bath water. I took pictures and video. When I checked out, I shared this with the gentleman at the front desk, he supposedly took my room number and stated someone would contact me, no one has yet to contact me. Not good customer service to lie.

Looked online before reserving room said pool was open year round get there and pool was not open only reason we stayed there waa so our kods could swim in the tank pool. The bell hop took 45 mins to bring us our lugged after we arrived. When we left i called for them to come get our luggage after 30 mins still hadnt ahown up so i called again and they said they didnt have it in there system i called the 30 mins prior. I have stayed here before and rrally enjoyed it. But this time was a very unfavorable experience. I went to complain avout the false advertisement about the pool and how upset we were about it and all the lady said to me waa sorry i will let my manger know.. no trying to make anything better just left it at that.

I’ve stayed at the Golden Nugget a few times and the quality of the rooms has fallen dramatically. The tub and sinks need to be refurbished. There was mold on the fixtures and the wallpaper was peeling off. I reserved two deluxe King rooms and one was smaller than the other and it didn’t have the couch depicted in the photos. The check-in process is by kiosks and we couldn’t get anyone to assist us with questions about the rooms.

Casino was clean. All staff was friendly. Room was what I expected as far as what I paid for it. Vic & Anthony’s steakhouse is a must. Place is a little smokey, but not as bad as some of the other neighboring locations and not as bad as I remembered it being from staying there awhile back.
