The condition of the room had nothing to do with photos on the Hotel's.com app, very disappointed and property requires major update and better cleaning. Mattress warn out long time ago.

This property is in a very very scary part of tropicana. People were homeless and all over in the parking lot. It was small, and outdated. Old coffee machine, broken tv, broken alarm clock, filthy upon check-in bathroom had hair and some substance on walls. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. You could hear every sound our neighbors made. I woke up to people screaming at each other. If they had been willing to refund my money i wanted to leave immediately but had no extra funds to do so after paying 60$

For this Motel to be close to downtown Vegas, they are years behind on upgrades, did not appreciate the difference in the photos in contrast to HJ Vegas,...as a stark reality.

GREAT location but dont have hi expectations

I wen to Vegas to watch a game at Allegient stadium, my two sons and myself. The hotel has a GREAT location, the rooms are small, kind of old, the front desk is really helpfull and nice. If i was there with my entire family wont do the job, but as we stayed for a couple of nights and we need something cheap and functional. The hotel was fine.

Your 'last' choice. ‘cheap’ but not inexpensive

Not a satisfactory experience. Not at all up to 1st world standards, or even Motel 6, It was ‘cheap’, but not inexpensive. The listing’s exterior pictures quite fail to show that the property is buried and hidden away in a run down area on an unmarked alley’ not visible from the street, fronting an unpaved lot used to park semi-trucks. They fail to show the run down, worn out exterior. The only presentable feature was the large ‘Howard Johnson” logo over the office. Interior pictures misrepresent the tiny cramped space, the filthy, sticky, thin unpadded brown patio carper, the buckled bathroom vinyl, moldy grout. No closet, [2] cloths hangers on a rail, no chairs or dressers or microwave. Thin sheets and flannel 'blanket’, no bedspread. The nightstand had a warped top surface with un-cleaned stains and sticky spills . The bath counertop had uncleaned water stains, with water standing. The carpet in front of the sink and into the bathroom. was wet/flooded. We had to use the two [2] provided towels to cover and soak u[p the wet carpet. The towels were the only ‘chean’ things in the room . The door had no weather stripping, did not tightly latch close, leaving 3/8” gap on all edges through which light shined and the wind, cold and noise blew, requing the wall mount heater run all night to keep the sheet covered occupants from chilling. There was plently of available parking, since the place was nearly empty.
