Unclean and neglected.

I had a terrible experience. The room was outdated, dirty. The hotel corridors going to the room had a strong smell of marijuana. The carpet had stains, and the furniture was worn out. Overall, the hotel felt unclean and neglected. The staff was rude, making cancellation uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here. The pictures posted can be 10 years old and don't reflect the actual state of the hotel.

Clean, but highway is loud

The hotel was clean, staff was fairly friendly. But it is very close to a busy highway and so quite noisy. My first night, I had a room that was on the highway side. It was so loud, I asked to be moved for the second night. They accommodated me very kindly. While the next night was slightly quieter on the street side, it was unfortunately on the second floor close to where people can smoke outside. At one point, the smell of marijuana came into my room quite strongly through the vent, but turning off the heat reduced that noticeably and I didn’t have that happen again. Other than those things, the room was clean and nothing seemed worn out. Everything worked well. It is conveniently near fast food like Chick Fil A and Chipotle. So - maybe just bring ear plugs in case you’re in a room closer to the highway side and try not to get a room by the smoking area outside!

This is a bare bones hotel. No restaurant, no bar, no room service (unless you request it). Hallways and rooms were moderately clean. Definitely an older hotel with new wallpaper and paint. On the plus side: the bed was comfortable, staff were generally accommodating, and the area was quiet and convenient to shopping and playing fields for sports.

I have stayed here a fair number of times as it is close to family. This trip was not what I have found in the past. It was dirtier, the water smelled gross. In the sink it smelled like rotten eggs and the shower smelled heavily of chlorine. Overall the room didn’t feel as clean as before. The bed was still comfy and the price is more reasonable than other similar options. They now charge $5/ night parking. And if you happen to be close to the interstate , it can be noisy. I have not been close to the interstate in past stays.

I booked this property last minute and I was able to get a room and check in. I am a local and was having my house painted and this location is close to restaurants and right off the 95. They are also pet friendly and I have two small dogs. There is a water bowl set up in the lobby and also a grassy area and several relief areas. At check in, she assigned me a room right next to the door in case they needed to go potty during the night. The room was clean, but the bathroom is a bit dated. There are no charging stations that some of the newer hotels have. However the hotel is safe and clean, which is all that matters to me. The king room has a large tv, a microwave, and a refrigerator. I have stayed at Sonesta in Oklahoma City and also the one in New Orleans and this one had the same great service. It would be ideal if you are staying for a longer duration or if you're traveling and do not want to deal with traffic or tourists. This location is in a residential area and about 15 minutes from the strip. However, if you want to go to one of the local's casinos, you can get to the Sante Fe in under 10 minutes 😉.
