The room could do with two bedside cupboards.

The hotel was ideal for the train station shopping and wondering a round Liverpool. Had an amazing time as always. So much to do it is my favourite city.

The hotel is ideally situated. It's a 20 minute walk to the Liver Building and ferry terminal. It is close to Lime street station but our room was on 6th floor so we couldn't hear announcements or trains as reported in a previous review. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The free parking is an added bonus! We would definitely stay here again.

Positives: location, ease of parking, breakfast, Senior management’s follow up response was good after the initial protocol for safeguarding of customers was not followed. Negatives: room safety, not following protocol to safeguard customers while sleeping in their bed, unprofessional behaviour by the security and reception team dealing with the situation immediately after it occurred.

Average but massively overpriced

The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. The room had a comfy bed and decent shower but the decoration was tried. Kill had been opened already, there were no tissues left in the bathroom and the coffee wasn’t very nice. Breakfast was basic but ok. Massive queue to get in and floor was covered in bits from tables. Wouldn’t stay again

This hotel is close to the train station in an urban area. The casual dining restaurant is better than the upscale restaurant. The shower in my room was poorly designed and water ran all over the floor and soaked into the carpet in the hallway.

Brilliant hotel

This hotel is fantastic " the staff are very professional, polite and very welcoming" The hotel itself, and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate " The castaway bar is brilliant, convivial and well run , the staff are also very friendly and immaculate in there attitude and appearance " I would recommend this hotel close to the theatre, and to lime street, station . It's pretty well into the city centre and close to both ranlaigh street and great Charlotte street, with plenty of live music , eateries , and pubs excellent

Just around the corner from Lime Street station, the Liner Hotel is lovely and quiet. The restaurant offers a variety of meals, and the Castaway Lounge is open in the evenings. Excellent location for popping on tours (at the World Museum, 3-5 minute walk) or walking through town to the Ferry or the Cavern Club, as well as history sites. Thank you, Liner Hotel for making our stay so enjoyable!

Didn't like.having a room over looking Lime Street Station. Enjoyed happy hour at the Castaway. Had breakfast on first night a.bit expensive. Overall nice room comfy bed.

The Linar Hotel

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city, right on top of Lime Street Station which you could hear but it wasn’t too bad. Staff were friendly and helpful especially the maintenance man who fixed the dodgy plug we reported straight away. Only complaint would be there was no fan & the mirror should be nearer the plug.
