Guess every people agree for economy down we experienced. Half of business close and empty on many streets. Near hotel but Were i stay was wonderful professional staff nice breakfast clean and safe properties. I would refer this hotels who want to enjoy Universal hollywood. Public transportation can be Easley try save some money, Everything expensive San Francisco

Stayed for 3 nights to go to Universal Studios. Room was clean and staff were super accommodating. Onsite laundry was super useful as well ($1 per load). Was able to get a 5th floor room so street level noise wasn’t an issue (other reviews had mentioned this). Pool was small, but my kids still enjoyed it. Area surrounding the hotel has plenty of options for food. It’s about 15ish min from Universal Studios which is super convienent. I had considered other hotels closer to the park, but i’m glad i chose Hampton Inn. Overall 10/10 experience, would stay here again.

Great hotel overall

Everything was great from the cleanliness and comfort of our room. Checking in was smooth with friendly staff. The breakfast was great as well. My only complaint was the parking late at night. I came back from universal and had to park in the driveway due to all the parking spots taken. Sorta would have liked my truck parked in the underground parking area. The security guard assisted me which was helpful, but I didn’t have peace of mind with my truck parked near the street.

Must stay at your Hilton Inn was very satisfying. The food was good and hot. The rooms were very nicely. Clean management was very aware and nice. I would definitely suggest this hotel in the near future.

Recurring Guests at this Location

We stay at this formerly named Holiday Inn Express every time we come to L.A. because it's convenient to where our daughter and son-in-law live, it's clean, has secure parking, and offers a free breakfast with the stay. Additionally, it's freeway close, the staff is friendly, and the rooms have both a min-refrigerator and microwave oven. This said, we were happier with our rooms before the renovation and conversion to Hampton Inn management. The one piece cabinet ensemble that houses the microwave and fridge comes with only one drawer to store clothes and is of low quality. Additionally, there is no longer a safe in the room, no desk, and the chairs are horribly uncomfortable.

It was average. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn. Room was typical Hampton Inn. Fridge wasn’t very cold at all. Called the front desk, they had someone come check, was given “it is here just to keep things from getting hot, not necessarily to make them cold”

This property was in a great location for us in the San Fernando Valley. It is on the edge of being a good area but it is secure and safe and there is a 24 hour security guard on the property in plain site all the time. Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfortable. We will use this hotel again. Thank you.

Best Hollywood hotel we have stayed at

This hotel was the nicest we have stayed near Universal Studios. The breakfast was good, included potatoes, sausage and eggs each day. Waffle machine, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, juice and coffee. The beds were decent, the bedding was soft. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotion in wall mounted containers. Microwave was tiny byt we made it work. Parking garage is a little difficult to get in and out of.

Excellent Hotel

Hotel staff was very accommodating when we arrived earlier. The Breakfast staff was on top of everything and the area was nice and clean. Our room was very comfortable also. Hotel was just a few minutes away from Universal Studios. I would recommend the Hampton Inn for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
