The hotel and cleaning staff breakfast and everything would 10/10 !! The SERVICE from the desk - AHMED (slim young man)... Made the whole experience terrible from check in to check out. I booked 3 rooms and said he only find 1 room ! After disputing and bringing up booking confirmation and him "checking" finally found all 3 room booking! ... Paid the hotel. Checkout - same person again !... (How unlucky I am)... Said there was some outstanding amount !?.. I said to him he collected the payment during checking for all 3 rooms. . But he said there was another 3 bills not paid. .. again. After disputing a booking he FINALLY admitted he missed out on collecting the payment during checking! Another 20 min wasted during check out...he did apologize for the mistake he made !... Because of 1 man alone (AHMED) .. the experience was 7/10 ... If Ahmed was professional and actually provided great service like EVERYONE else did.. this would have been a 10/10 stay here !... Shame Ahmed was not up to standard like everyone else and too arrogant to take liability for his mistake and error!

Next to the clock tower, so there was lots of shops, lots of variety in the breakfast and my room was very clean. Only reason why I wouldn't give five stars overall is because I left an item in my room and it was very very difficult on the phone lines to get through to someone to locate my item and confirm that they've got it so I can come and collect it, especially when the calls cost a fortune being put on hold for a long time is very costly in the end. It was only when I wrote a bad review online that they actually reached out to me and told me that my item is located and I could come collect it. I did get my item back so it has been resolved, but the service could've been a lot better if I was actually able to speak to someone from the beginning.

Although we had a bit of a rocky start - we were waiting for a room change for the first three days as we weren't given the room we booked - the hotel staff went above and beyond to make it right. They upgraded us to a VIP suite for the remaining three days, offered late checkout, and even did our laundry for free! They acknowledged the trouble we'd been through, apologised, and gave us complimentary fruit and coffee. The staff were hospitable and nice, so I'd definitely go back - but next time, I'll make sure to liaise with them ahead of time to ensure I get a clean room that matches the pics☺️

Hotel was in a brilliant location next to Haram. Rooms were spacious, clean with all amenities expected in a 5 star. Breakfast was amazing with a large variety of food suitable for all age types.

The hotel isn't suitable for disabled guests. The exit to the haram involves getting on and escalator which is near impossible for people with significant disabilities. The many times I observed this I felt there was a lack of assistance from the hotel. The female hotel receptionists weren't particularly helpful. The phone in my room didn't work which wasn't great when I was feeling unwell and couldn't contact reception for help. The hotel is quite a walk from the main king Fahad gate and the walk back is uphill. I would recommend staying somewhere closer if you want easy access to your hotel while on your pilgrimage.
