Worst hotel experience – avoid this location
We booked La Quinta Inn through Expedia for Aug 10–13 but checked out after just one night because of how bad the stay was.
When we arrived around 11 p.m., I was feeling sick and both of us were exhausted. The room they gave us was on the lowest floor, completely isolated, right next to the main gate and a public bathroom. We asked to switch, but the front desk said we had to go through Expedia. Expedia contacted them, but they claimed no other rooms were available.
Within two hours, the public bathroom flooded, and water leaked everywhere. When I tried to wash my feet, the bathroom knob broke right off. Later, the staff admitted they realized there was a problem and tried calling us to change rooms—but our phone was broken, so we never got the call.
Between the location of the room, the flooding, broken fixtures, and lack of proper solutions from staff, this was easily the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. We left after one night and will never return.
