Good location. The main photo of the hotel in the image shows the hotel before another building went right next door so many of the rooms will not have a view. Had all sorts of issues with the checkin process. The reception staff did not understand anything about the hotels.com/Expedia gold offer they marketed, and didn't believe me. Spent ages speaking to the counter, and the marketing/reservations team need to communicate better with the reception staff- starting with some better training. Finally got to a room and the Aircon shorted turning on and off again. A handyman turned up to clean the switch saying it's a common problem in this hotel but now should be ok. Then I returned to the room later on and the same problem. Spoke to reception and got moved to a new room. The apartments are nice with good kitchen the real issue here is the poor reception with poor training. Lot of room for improvement here.

We were so happy with our stay at Citadines on Bourke. Right from the start at check-in, to mid stay when we had a personal issue that was dealt with most respectfully, through to checking out, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was simple, but it had everything we could have possibly wanted or needed. The bed was very comfortable. If there was any criticism at all (and it's only a small one), both my husband and I found the pillows a little firm for our liking. Perhaps having an extra two on the bed that are much softer would offer an alternative option.

we have been here many times before and love the central location and tram outside the door connecting direct to southern cross station and casino area as well as the main shopping and entertaining areas. we couldn't get the TV to sync with our devices so it was free to air or watching on small devices. Not a big deal. We used the pool /sauna which is quite adequate not super hot but OK. If there was 1 downer the bathroom could use a deep clean. Staff were very friendly.

I used to stay at Citadines in Japan and Singapore which were great experiences. I was expecting similar level of service. Unfortunately it turned out that this one is not as good as expected. 1. The property was not in very good condition. The revocation was very basic. 2. The amenities were very basic. For instancec there is not even hand wash liquid. 3. The service was very basic. There is no automatic daily room cleaning except Tuesday and Thursday. I had to request before 10am if I need a room cleaning. As a result, the amenities were not refilled automatically. 4. On Day 2 (Tuesday) at 8am, I was woke up by a cleaner when I was still in my dream. I feel the cleaner wanted to get his job done without considering the guest. When I complained this to the front desk, I it wasn't taken seriously. Overall it was not a satisfactory stay and I will not book this hotel again.
