Poor - To Costly

Dear Best Western Management, I recently stayed at your property and feel compelled to share my feedback, as my experience was far below expectations—particularly considering the nearly $2,200 I paid for a four-night stay. While the hotel’s beachfront location is certainly a highlight, nearly every other aspect of my stay was disappointing: The overall condition of the facilities was poor and not well maintained. Cleanliness throughout the property left much to be desired. The pool and bar areas appeared aged and neglected. Basic amenities such as the water machine and vending machines were either broken or functioning intermittently. The service I received—particularly at the front desk—was unwelcoming and at times rude, which left a lasting negative impression. I expected a much higher standard of quality and hospitality for the price I paid. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to others and do not plan to return. My family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights. We had a suite which was very spacious and had 2 full bathrooms. The cost was VERY reasonable considering the size of the room and the location of the hotel. It’s located right on the beach and you can walk to many stores and restaurants I love the paved bike/pedestrian path next to the beach. The hotel is a bit older and needs some upgrades but we didn’t mind bc the price and location couldn’t matched.

Reserved a king ocean view room with a balcony, got there about 7:30p and we were informed our room is no longer available. So they “upgraded” is to a “suite” which was just 2 connected rooms. No balcony, no view except for a homeless person on the street. Thanks for ruining my vacation. Never staying at a Best Western again.

The hotel is perfectly located mid beach. Ocean front property at a relatively low cost for the area. Dislikes: AC barely worked. Satellite TV was inoperable for 24 hours. Roach in the Bathroom first night. Parking for a very small lot is not inclusive in nightly rate. An additional 40/day. Most staff barely spoke English. Concierge and assistant were a joy to work with and helped in everything asked. Restaurant breakfast was expensive given the offering. Should have been free because it was no better than Hampton Inn. That all said, knowing what I’m paying for I would stay there if I flew in and utilized the Collins Ave shuttle to get around to other dining establishments.
