This was our third or fourth stay at the Doubletree Resort by Hilton Hollywood Beach and we will keep visiting. I also want to give a shout out to the hotel restaurant, Port South and Lava Tiki Bar. Delicious food, large portions and drinks.

Staff was great. I paid extra to not be in a wheelchair accessible room and thats what we were given. The property is old. Its clean, just old. The pool area needs updating/fixing. Loose pavers that you walk on, brick missing in areas around the pool, weeds growing everywhere. Also, the pool didnt get cleaned every day. Food was basic, pizza had to be frozen and not fresh, but expensive.

The customer service was a horrible experience. Check-in is at four and we didn’t check in till almost an hour and a half later. The room was not clean and had a stench to it. The balcony was also a mess. On the bright side, the gentleman working the valet were extremely patient and helpful.

We arrived at the hotel early, because we had just got off a cruise. We expected to just store our luggage and hang out for the day until check in time. Instead, they assigned us a room right away, which was great. We had an issue with our room that we reported the next morning. They immediately offered us another room without any hassle. The second room was great and without any issues. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It is a little walk to the beach but there is a crosswalk in front of the hotel and the walk wasn’t bad. We went to the beach for a little while, but didn’t stay because of high winds. The pool is very nice and the staff at the local restaurant and the tiki bar were very friendly and efficient. We spent our days just lounging by the pool and enjoying the warm weather. There is a 7-11 store right next to the hotel which was convenient for miscellaneous snacks and drinks. For one meal at Padrino’s Cuban Restaurant, which was very good and just a fifteen-minute walk away. I would not hesitate staying here again.

We stayed for one night. Overall, the experience was okay. There were a few moments where the staff wasn’t particularly helpful, and we felt rushed about an hour before checkout. The reception staff seemed to be in a constant state of frustration, which affected the vibe. That said, everything else was fine—the pool area had a great view and was a nice spot to relax.
