Could not logon to WiFi and had to go downstairs to get it fixed as we couldn’t logon with Hilton Honors credentials. Had to use a promotional code to login being a guest at the hotel. The front desk informed that this hotel works differently than other Hilton’s and they use their own software program. Each time to speak to front desk, we had to wait in line for 30 minutes to talk. A very difficult and bad timing for us to stay. Been a traditional loyal customer to Hilton but now wondering switching to Marriott after this.

I have always stayed at Hilton and this was a very disappointing stay. I have a return reservation that if it was not last minute I would have canceled. The elevators were broken and we had to tech up the fire escape stairs. There was nothing as simple as a note pad or a pen in the room. No coffee station. Our room was fine, but the cleanliness was remiss. We passed the same hair extension on our hallway floor for three days. How is that acceptable in Hilton standards? The one plus is the concierge staff and valet service was lovely! I will hope this is a one off.

Everything was excellent except the indoor temperature of the bar and restaurant area. It was freezing so a jacket was required. It seems to be a waste of energy cooling such a large area. Lovely outside with a great pool.

This was a great hotel, back in the 1980’s but is no more. Great location, surrounded by the lake. They need to update everything, from the lobby to the rooms. It looks and feels old, it’s a shame.

The room was subpar at best. Hot and muggy. Dirty, the chair in the room has crusty stuff on it. The shower head could not be adjusted. The bathroom door was water damaged and just painted over. For the price we paid per night this was AWFUL.

Check in took way too long. There was a line and only two front desk employees. The main elevators were not working so the management put us to use the service elevators. I got to the hotel at 4:30 and to my room at 5:35. Way too long! Front desk employee asked if I wanted housekeeping services for my second day and I said yes. It was noted on their system. Next day I left my door sign indicating maid service please. Housekeeping never showed up. I had to go get towels from the front desk. Very nice hotel, but they did not hit the mark for me.

Woman at front desk was rude. She said because we booked through Expedia we couldn’t get any of our Hilton benefits like free WiFi or bottled water. She would not add our Hilton number to our booking. In the morning we were 10 minutes early for the airport shuttle but it filled up quickly. There was another shuttle sitting there but they said they wouldn’t leave for another 30 minutes. Had to pay for an uber instead of being able to use their shuttle service.
