Calahonda Beach is part of the urbanization Sitio de Calahonda.​​​​​ Just a 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport.

Build in the traditional way with white walls and blue shutters, the apartment buildings feel very "southern" Spain. The gardens are exceptionally well maintained and filled with local plants and citrus trees. The grounds and the swimming pool area are all secured by fences and have locked gates.

Our beautiful renovated duplex apartment is made to let you feel the comfort of a home from home.

The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with a microwave/oven, dishwasher, extractor hood, infrared kitchen hob. You will find al the kitchen tools you need to make your family a real Spanish meal. And if you don’t want to cook indoors, there is a barbecue on the terras.

The living room has a comfortable sofa bed with a chaise longe, two cozy chairs, a coffee table, television with streaming services. Everything for a cozy evening in.

When you go upstairs, there is the most beautiful Moroccan waterfall lamp.

The upstairs bathroom has a toilet, rain shower with a handheld shower, towel racks, shampoo, bodywash. Washing basin with drawer cabinet and mirror cabinet. Washing machine and dryer.

The master bedroom has the most spectaculair view of the swimming pool and the Mediterranean sea. A joy to wake up to! It has a kingsize adjustable bed and lots of closet space.

The second bedroom has two separate single beds with a large closet as well.

The gardens are beautifully maintained and you can find different citrus trees and palms.

From the garden you go directly to the beach and the walkway witch goes from La Cala de Mijas to Cabo piño with al the little chiringuito’s.


If you don’t want to rent a car, you can get around by foot, bus or train. A taxi brings you to and from the airport in 30 minutes. From your holiday home there is a nice shopping mall within a five-Minute walk which has a good Supermercado for your daily shopping, a pharmacist, a hardware store, a souvenir shop with books and newspapers and a Chinese shop which "has it all", from hairbrush to sun-beds.

There is a bus stop within a three-minute walk. Public transportation is cheap, and it brings you to the nearby cities of Marbella, La Cala, Mijas Pueblo, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Torremolinos and of course Malaga.

There is lots to see and do.
You can visit the local street markets. You can join a dolphin cruise to go and spot dolphins and whales.

Sports are easily incorporated into a Calahonda lifestyle; there are a total of 10 golf courses within a 10-kilometre radius and a wide range of water sports such as sailing, diving, fishing and snorkelling. Tennis enthusiasts are also well catered for with the Club del Sol which boasts 12 all-weather courts and classes for all levels of players.

You can go hiking in the beautiful hills or hire a mountainbike and follow one of the many trails.

There are several blue flag beaches (awarded 2021) for those just wanting to chill – safe for all the family – dotted with Chiringuitos (beach restaurants) serving local seafood.

And don't forget the culture of the region. From there you can visit the white villages and Rhonda, Malaga, Cordoba, Sevilla and Granada. You can visit a flamenco show and try some local food in one of the many, many good restaurants.​
