Sijaitsee historiallisella joen rannalla sijaitsevalla kiinteistöllä, joka tunnettiin aiemmin nimellä Angelo's Sandy Beach Resort, joka tunnetaan nykyään nimellä Grandma's House, kauniita punapuita, aurinkoa ja hauskaa joella, rannikon läheisyyttä ja viinimaahan ja tunne, että olet kaukana kaupungista. Lähellä on palkittu 9-reikäinen golfkenttä, retkeilyyn tarkoitettuja puupuistoja ja monia hienoja Sonoma Countyn viinitiloja ja ravintoloita lähellä, mutta poistumiseen ei todellakaan ole syytä! Viehättävä sisustus muistuttaa isoäidin taloa, käsintehtyjä peittoja, Bluewillow-kiinaa jne. Oleskelutila muistuttaa isoisän metsästyslookasta.

Talo on rauhallisella alueella, mutta kävelymatkan päässä muutamista kaupoista ja ravintoloista Monte Riossa. Guernevillen kaupunki on 5 mailin päässä. Lähistöllä on palkittu 9-reikäinen golfkenttä, retkeilyyn tarkoitettu Redwood-puisto ja monia hienoja Sonoma-läänin viinitilat lähellä. Joki kohtaa valtameren noin 10 mailin päässä Jennerin kaupungista.

Wonderful stay at Grandma's House. Host was great at communicating promptly, check in easy, great location on river with lots of amenities. Plenty of inside and outside space to be together or separate. Kitchen was stocked with amazing assortment of pans, and spices. Pool table, piano and arcade game was icing on the cake. Some things need looking into for repairs like fridge bins, some windows and doors don't slide well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We spent 3 days on the property. The location is excellent with easy access to the river for both people and 2 dogs. We spent a lot of time on the river swimming and kayaking. The property has large bedrooms and is clean. Please note that the property has a lot of miles on it. Many things need maintenance such a leaky toilets, ceiling fan that doesn't work, kitchen appliances in need of replacement, and beat up outdoor furniture. The location is great for time on the river so you'll have to weigh out what really matters to you.

Grandma’s House is a lovely facility. Good separation of bedrooms from common spaces. Also, each of the four bedrooms is large, well equipped, and has a private bathroom. The house location could not be better! We spent a lot of time on the private beach and dock. Our children enjoyed playing in the water and befriending the local ducks. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything a family could want is here. The house has plenty of room for family of eight. Kitchen is equipped with so many cooking and baking items. Lots of spices, pots and pans. There are two decks to sit on or eat on the tables which you can enjoy and watch the Russian River go by The’re canoes and other floatable provided. Best family vacation

We go to the Russian River a lot and this would be one of the best places that we have stayed at. The location could not be better and the space provided fit our family perfectly. The highlight I would have say was the rope swing that was across the river on the other side.

Summer fun on the river

We (two families with older children) had a wonderful time at Grandma's. The place is laid out very nicely to accommodate two families, the kitchen is big and well-equipped, and the grounds are beautiful. The location right on the river is superb. The kids loved the rope swing on the opposite shore and everyone enjoyed the various watercraft. The only issue we had was that the beds could be made more comfortable with an upgrade of at least new mattress protectors (they are lumpy) and a variety of pillows (we needed thinner ones). We are hoping to come back and can definitely recommend this place for a summer getaway.

Comfort on the River

Our extended family of 9 had plenty of room to spread out inside and out. 4 convenient en suite bed/bath rooms. Extra large eat in kitchen with all the equipment needed to feed a crowd River out the back door with boating and floating equipment. Eclectic decor with plenty of surprises to investigate. Above 90 temps weren't even a problem, as the house stayed cool and comfortable.

Great location, lots of space, a few suggestions

We enjoyed our time at this location very much. Beach access and privacy were highlights for sure. I also appreciated how many bathrooms there are- no waiting! The kitchen is very well stocked. A few things that need work: when we arrived at checkin time, the house was still being cleaned. It wasn’t that big of a deal; we just walked down to the river but I think our presence rushed the cleaning staff. The bed my husband and I used did have a sandy feel. I know it is probably tough to get rid of it all, but that was a bit uncomfortable. The ice maker was visibly dirty. The kayaks and canoes were very fun but were not in 100% working order with missing seats/straps for seating. I would suggest getting rid of the small table in the kitchen and replacing it with pantry storage. We didn’t have a lot of room to put our purchased food that didn’t go in the refrigerator. There were a few ants here and there as well. Overall, this is an excellent property, beautiful grounds, and a spacious vacation spot I would recommend.

Spent a great Christmas holiday in Grandma’s House with our family. Plenty of space for 4 couples, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. Easy stroll to the Boho Manor for cocktails around their fire pit. We had a great time!

Holiday Family Fun

Great location. The house is fully equiped with everything you need for indoor and outdoor activities. Beautiful deck that looks out at the river below. Access to the river is not easy for people with infants or anyone with any physical limitations. That being said we had a great time on the river. The house needs some loving care. The owner, Stephen, is very responsive and personable. All in all everyone in our group enjoyed their stay.

Creating memories at Grandmas house

This is our third stay at grandmas house. We love the property, easy access to the water, and amenities of the home. Truly all the comforts of home in a rental fit for family gatherings! Great time

We all had more than enough room. Everything was so nice. Lots of kitchenware, spices and condiments. Kids enjoyed the canoes and blow ups. The rope swing across the river was enjoyed by my grandkids and parents. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning was so beautiful and quiet. We’ll be back
