The room was nice with beautiful grounds and pool area. We didn’t like that no one seemed to care. Our AC went out for 2 days and we spent most of our time trying to figure that out. Staff wasn’t very nice, always seemed like we were bothering them. There were a select few that seemed to understand and care. Food wasn’t great. We are not the type to complain, we make our vacation what we want of it. But due to this trip we do not plan to go back to Jamaica.

honest review

The resort is beautiful. Our room was hot and took a minute to cool off. The bar drinks are a hit or miss. we were not able to experience all of the restaurants because they either closed early or needed a reservation and when we tried to make a reservation it was "booked". Staff were friendly and the check in process was smooth. I wish it was more adult entertainment on the adult side such as more clubs. overall my stay was good but I was highly disappointed in the food. we had to travel outside of the resort just to experience real jamaican food.

The hotel is very comfortable and relaxing, and the food is excellent. We enjoyed it very much. The only thing was that most of the staff weren't at all friendly and always had unfriendly faces. The towel area at the pool and beach was almost never staffed, let alone towels. Everyone in the privileged areas can access them because there's no one monitoring them.

We had a lot of fun. We stayed on the adult side. The pool was great. It did seem like more of a younger crowd there. Food wasn’t very good and lot of maintenance issues for a fairly new hotel. Ocean view is more of a pool view with a partial ocean view. Some of the staff was great, others seemed to do a lot of complaining in Jamaican under their breath. We had fun but probably wouldn’t return, lot of better options.

Never thought I’d have a security issue traveling but this time I did and for any lgbt traveler to Jamaica, this is the place to stay! The security was top notch and everyone at the resort was very accepting and respectful but please do keep in mind respect their culture as well if you want to have respect! I love this resort and will be back!
