Place is legit. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Gym is small, but it didnt stop me from getting my workput on. Plus the pool and spa are nice. Great stay. We'll be back.

It was great and comfortable except for the family that was above us that was running up and down the halls until they went to sleep about 10 or 11 o’clock and then they woke up and we’re doing it again about three in the morning, but we always enjoy our stay at the hotel Abrego

Anniversary Visit

I surprised my wife with a weekend trip to Monterey for our anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and even more, our stay at Abrego. The staff was the most professional, friendly, and accommodating group I've ever experienced. Being relegated to a wheelchair, the room was perfectly laid out for me to easily get to the entire room. The only recommendations i have would be for the breakfast to have a better warming station and to add a waffle station to the options. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We'll be back!!!

Let's name the positive sides first : The breakfast was very good (for American breakfast), and I was positively surprised, there was a big selection of food, front desk was very nice, also the kitchen stuff. Hotel itself could use renovation and the pool area is really not useful ,or nice, as well as the gym .Therefore This cannot have 4 or 5 stars. I would say its decent hotel , but the price of $350 per night I paid in October was too big for such a hotel.Location is close to the city, but not close to the beach and You have no nice view at all. The view , location, amenities should justify such a big price, that this place doesn't offer.
