Visited Montreal and decided to stay here. Found out it was the F1 racing event on the weekend but was only staying from Wednesday to Friday. Pros: location was good. Close to the places I wanted to see (average 15 minute drive). Reasonable price for room. Free breakfast. Clean room. Cons: fee for parking which I was not advised of, not even at check out. Was charged $23. Although breakfast is free, it’s very limited. Sausage is the only meat available. No bacon. I guess you can’t be too pick if it’s free. A little variety would be nice though.

We had problem with the key. They allocated room which was belong to another guest and once it got shorted out. they were still cleaning the room after checked in which is horrible.

Check-in experience was poor. Came in after a long drive, we were initially given keys to the room that was already occupied. The people were nice enough so it did not escalate but we went in the room ready to relax only to find someone else already there. To make it worse, next room given to us had a broken bed. It was missing an entire leg and the leg was not there (which suggests it didn’t break just now). Took us almost 2 hrs to get a room decent enough to actually be in. Other than that, property is well maintained, no smell or foul odour. The breakfast place and staff are very friendly. Location is perfect for someone exploring Montreal and nearby areas. Tons of stores around.

Once I was able to enter an unoccupied room, the room was updated nicely and generally clean. Powdered eggs and sausages are not my typical breakfast foods but the juice and coffee were good. What I found annoying is that the staff were all gathered in the breakfast area speaking French loudly while one of them was coughing continuously around the food and tables, not one of them spoke to me in English although I said good morning in English.

Stay away from this horrible motel, just terrible. The hotel/motel has groups of young sports teams staying there. There is nothing but noise, kids in the hallway playing hours on end, doors slamming constantly, and yelling! Shocking! Kids sitting in large groups in the hallway, they are loud. We saw people in the hallway walking around with beers. We were woken up at 12.30pm. by 4 people (with chairs) from their rooms sitting outside our room screaming and laughing like they were in a very loud bar. Why isn't the motel staff asking people to stay in their rooms? The Motel needs to decide how to deal with this problem, simple solution, walk the hallway and ask people to return to their rooms. Hello! Is that difficult? No hotel in the world would allow this. Zero comfort, just loud, worst motel/hotel we have ever stayed in. VERY shocking.
