Was really surprised given price. It was basically an apartment. Much more than we needed but great to have. There was some condition of the room issues. Kitchen cabinetry was used in bathroom so it had started to peel, coffee maker didn’t work, light switches that didn’t have lights attached to them and no over head light in bedroom. But those were minor things. The breakfast was nearly a buffet with it’s options. I’ll call it continental plus as it had egg options and a meat, beans very good added value

The room was the perfect size for two people, however on the reservation it made it look like I had a balcony that ended up only being two slide doors with no actual outside area facing the back of the street.

El aire acondicionado es pésimo. Al ingresar la habitación estaba por sobre los 30°C y con mucho olor. No es que no funcione, su concepto de diseño es horrible. En un día caluroso la temperatura de la habitación no logró bajar de 27*C con todo al máximo. La solución que me dieron fue un ventilador ruidoso, lamentable la respuesta de la encargada a quien no le importó y ni siquiera se disculpó. Muy mal la limpieza de todo el hotel, debajo de la cama había suciedad de hace años. Todo muy antiguo. El personal no limpia las mesas del desayunador, hay que tirar la basura de ocupante previo y limpiar con servilletas, hay que ir muy temprano o no hay forma de conseguir mesa. El aire acondicionado del desayunador solo funcionó el primer día. Lamentable. Adjunto fotos que son pruebas irrefutables. Se merecen una calificación aún peor. Le advertí que los calificaría negativamente y no le importó, se ve que no le interesa trabajar en el hotel.

Front Door is locked and you need to wait for someone to notice you at the door before they unlock it. I received an email with an offer for early check in and requested early check in but was denied because the hotel was “full”. it didn’t seem like there was anyone else on our floor. Parking should be free not an additional charge.

This is our second time to stay in this hotel. The location of the hotel is one of the two main reasons we, a family of four, chose it for our 3-night stay in Montreal. The free breakfast buffet is another reason. Staff there are very friendly. Although the hotel’s condition is a bit dated, we will stay there again when we’re in Montreal. The location is just excellent.

Great location. Walking distance from Old Montreal. Just a few blocks from Chinatown. Free breakfast buffet with good variety. Parking at a reasonable cost. The staff was friendly and the rooms have a nice size kitchen with all the appliances you need if you choose to prepare your own meals. Highly recommend it.

Poor room.

Not so good. Was expecting a different type of room. Diffenity not what was described in the descriptions. Room was an apartment converted to a hotel room the cabinets were old and worn out. Bathroom update was just a coat of paint. Cabinets again were old and worn out. Definitely not worth the money i spent.

Wonderful Stay

Hotel Faubourg met all of our needs and more. Breakfast choice is plentiful and the food is good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Clean room with comfortable beds. The location is good with buses and the Metro close by. Lots of places to eat near by as well as the IGA for anything else required.
