Five star hotel at a three star price. Everything about the Mona was superb. Directions to the hotel were clear. It’s a short walk from the rail station, right on the Montreux lake walk, and 5 minutes from the ferry landing. Staff was very helpful, helped us with our luggage and provided tips and information. They provided a room upgrade without us asking or knowing. The room was very large with ample space. The view was magnificent with a large, amazing balcony. The minibar was stocked and all complimentary. The hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Mona had unlimited coffee drinks in the lobby, so we ended the night with a hot chocolate and latte on our balcony. My only regret is I didn’t book another night or two. Next time.

Fun and stylish hotel right on the Lake. Easy walking to Funky Claude's, Freddy's Statue, the pier or casino. We stayed in the Cosy Mona, so we had a balcony overlooking the water - fantastic views! Only drawbacks - bathroom was SMALL, like really small. & Elevators are also quite small, but there's two and they move very quickly! But 2 people and bags is pretty much full any more people trying to get on is quite packed!

Excellent breakfast. Many options. Made to order omelets. Restaurant also excellent. Amazing views. We were upgraded from a “cosy Mona” to a lower floor panorama room. Many windows that opened for a refreshing breeze. You could almost step right into the lake from our balcony. Bluetooth speaker with good sound plus a comfortable bed and lots of room. Staff offered great service plus help with luggage especially down front steps of building. Easy to get to hotel from train station - follow the blue line on the sidewalk.

We had a wonderful three night stay at Mona Montreax. The room was very clean and had a fantastic view of Lake Geneva and part of the city. Although the room was compact, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We also enjoyed a fabulous meal in the hotel restaurant.

The hotel staff were so friendly, helpful and informative. The little extras that the hotel provided like complimentary mini bar in our room ( no spirits but still a great perk) and the free hot drinks station in the foyer was just the job after a day out ( not to mention the free sweets and popcorn). We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was delicious and service was great. Only downside was lack of inside lounge bar to unwind or have a nightcap . Location of hotel was excellent for the activities that we wanted to do , including visiting the Freddie Mercury statue which was on my wife’s bucket list. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel .

From the train station to the hotel there is a very long staircase going down to the street where the hotel located, if you have luggage you need to go a long way to find an elevator. We stayed four nights in this hotel. There are some ( about seven ) staircases before the reception desk, as seniors we had to bring our luggage up, and nobody offered to help. The receptionist (the older one) had a long face and looked very serious when we checked in, he gave us two vouchers saying that we could have two free drinks while we stay, turned out that we had to eat in the hotel restaurant then we could use it. Our room is super small but has a balcony facing the lake, and the view is beautiful. Outside our room is an outdoor restaurant/platform, and it was very loud when there was an event. The hotel has a jacuzzi but the water is just a little bit warmer than body temperature, not warm enough or a comfortable temperature. As a four star hotel there is no refrigerator in the room. There was a young lady receptionist who was nice to us when we checked out, and we think she is the only one who cares about her job and the customers. Overall we are not very happy about the stay.

Location, clean room, environment, view, breakfast all good. But the facilities in the bathroom need to be improved. For example, the toilet paper holder is not fixed and it is easy to fall off, which is very strange.

Great location. We visited for the Freddie Mercury annual celebrations and this was a few minutes walk from the venue. Stunning lake views from our room and a very good breakfast buffet.
