Beautiful views from our panoramic room but more dated than other rooms we sneaked a peek at. Brilliant location on Lake Geneva and very convenient for the train station. Breakfast was great. Coffee machine, popcorn cart and candy a nice bonus. Free transport around the city with the Montreux Riviera card that we received as part of the hotel booking. We had a lovely 3 night stay and would definitely recommend.

The staff were fabulous!! The breakfast was really good and has the best outlook over the lake. Nice and close to the train. The only minor thing was we couldn't find the air con the first night and it was really hot in the room so we needed to open the windows. It was close to midnight and had been up and travelling since 6am when we checked in so we were too tired to try and find out whether the room didn't have it. It was hidden behind the curtain and on the floor, in other places the air con is up high because cool air sinks and also behind a curtain doesnt really help with air flow. A really minor thing but it could be good to have the room cool before check in or advice on how to operate as it was ~30 degrees at the time.

Very disappointed in this hotel. We thought we had booked a really nice hotel and this was a glorified Motel 6. Front desk staff was either frenzied or just didn’t care. Air conditioning was not working well. Arrived to no lights in our bathroom which had to be fixed. One a good note the breakfast was good and hearty and the location was excellent

Mona Montreux A++++

Mona Montreux was the best hotel experience we had while in Switzerland! Its location was ideal! 5 minute walk from train, right on the promenade near restaurants. The hotel was spotless, there were a lot of complimentary perks: bike and stand up paddle boards free of charge, free bottles of water and iced tea while on the sun roof/jacuzzi area, free popcorn and coffee/ cappuccino in lobby. Nice bathrobe and slippers included. Room was beautiful! And the view was amazing of lake Geneva. The front desk staff was wonderful! One small issue was our room wasn’t ready at check-in time but that was ok, the staff held our bags and we went to visit vineyards. Would highly recommend Mona Montreux!!!!!
