Our time at this cabin was frustrating and uncomfortable. The house was probably 55 degrees when we got there. We tried the switch on the side of the fireplace and the remote, but the remote was dead and we had to take batteries from the tv remote. The instructions they provided did not match the house — there is no physical thermostat. The booklet says there are instructions on how to operate the fireplace remote in the front of the binder, but there aren’t. At this point, we thought we’d turn on the hot tub to warm up and start enjoying our time. But there are also no instructions on how to turn on the hot tub, how long it needs to heat, or anything like that. The display on the hot tub wasn't on, so we called support again.The first support person sent my friend into to find the electrical box (outside in some bushes with a latch that doesn't work) but the hot tub did not connect to that box. The fuse for the hot tub is in the back by the door, but no one was able to direct her there. The second support person told me to check the filter, without further instructions on where to find it or what to look for. I told him I’ve never owned a hot tub or checked a filter, but I’d try. We were working on getting the hot tub going until 8.30 that night. A support person came that night and the next day but the pump was broken. The partial refund totally inadequate due to the fact that we booked this cabin specifically for the hot tub. Don't book with Vacasa if you have the choic
