--PEPPERS COTTAGE--is located at Mile post 17.5 on the Beach Road. It is part of Laughing Gull Cottages, an Ocean Front community.

Peppers is a cozy cottage for 2 people that is located on the ocean side. Only about a 150 feet to the beach.

This cottage may look rustic on the outside but it is just right for a romantic getaway!
Pepper's has a queen bed and one full bathroom. There is an outside shower also.
The kitchen is fully equipped so dinner is a snap! We have updated the kitchen and added a dishwasher. We even have an air fryer and a crock pot.

The living area includes comfortable furnishings, SMART TV with DVD player and free WI-Fi Internet access.

The deck is spacious. Also provided is a deck furniture, a charcoal grill, and clothes line.

Did you know? When Peppers was first built, Dr. Forbes rented it to a Catholic Cardinal.
He liked it so much that before he left, he blessed the cottage.

Booked Peppers cottage for my partner and I’s fourth Valentine’s Day together. This little cottage bungalow was perfect for what we were hoping! It’s small, intimate, and incredibly charming. The walk to the beach, both late at night under the stars or during the day, was easy and convenient. The amenities were wonderful, with the kitchen and bathrooms fully stocked. The WiFi was very good, as we were both able to game on the same connection. The proximity to all the wonderful attractions in Nags Head made this the perfect gateway! Check in and out was easy, and hosts were highly responsive and reliable.

Everything stood out! It was a perfect weekend get away for me. The cottage was exactly as I expected…small but very comfortable and had everything I needed, especially a full kitchen. Compliments to the host for having a well maintained property but, more important to me, being friendly and helpful throughout the whole rental process. Final note, the property is in a fantastic location on the ocean side and just a couple minute walk over the dune to the beach and minutes (without traffic) to all shopping and attractions. It was a WOW weekend for me.

Clean and cozy. Perfect for me. They were very accommodating, as well. Less than two weeks before my stay, one of my dogs passed away. Within minutes of me asking, they refunded the pet deposit. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed 4 nights and were only given one towel and washcloth each for our entire stay. We had to bring extra. We had to put the sheets on ourselves, were only given one trash bag, had to sweep up before we left and given a list of what had to be done before we left or we would be charged either an extra day stay or 75 if the furniture was moved and not put back in its original spot. Our question was, what does the cleaning crew actually do? It wasn't very relaxing knowing we could be charged if we forgot to do something on the checkout list.

Wonderful week in Nags Head. Peppers was just right for the 2 of us, and our dog loved it as well. Comfortable, clean and a very short walk to a great beach. Patio is lovely for drinks and stars. So glad we found it, and fully intend to return in the Spring for a couple of weeks.

Perfect Cozy Cottage!

We loved our weeklong stay at Pepper's Cottage! The newly remodeled cottage was cute and well-stocked. We appreciated the new kitchen appliances and the convenient beach access. We'd definitely stay here again!

A favorite place to stay

I have stayed at this cottage before as well as other Rentals on the Ocean rentals and every stay has been exceptional. The houses are older but so well taken care of and seem to be consistently updated on the inside and out as well as all of the amenities.

Perfect for senior Couple

Property is perfect for2 and a pet. Well equipped cottage for a getaway to the beach. Near handicap beach access and has private beach access. Minimal steps a plus for us. We would rent again.

Quiet cottage just steps from the ocean. Very clean space and has all the amenities of home. Well stocked kitchen. Communication with the rental agency was quick and thorough. Pets welcome which was a huge plus!

Great little place and Terrific location

The perfect size for one to two people And a pup or two. Charming bungalow, great amenities. Loved the available seating on porch and deck (though cushions for the rockers and a small table between them wouldn’t be a bad idea.) Great access to the beach and close to grocery stores. Highly recommend!

Another great stay

We previously stayed at the cottage and the entire kitchen was redone. We arrived a little earlier than checkin time and reached out to the property manager who sent over the cleaners so that we could start our vacation early. Once again, a great place to stay and we will definitely return.

Nice place!

We enjoyed our stay at Peppers cottage. Cute and clean. They even provided us a starter pack with paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, dish soap, and 2 bars of soap. It was alittle hard to find on a dark rainy night. Didn’t realize it was on Laughing Gull Cottages property. Also be aware if you have mobility issues: beach access is nearby but over a dune of soft deep shifting sand. No board walk unfortunately. We asked to have a later checkout but this was not able to be granted even in off season and apparently costs an extra day. We did appreciate being able to bring our large dog along for the stay and will consider booking here again. Location is good in Nags Head.

Fresh fish run

Drove down to buy fresh fish to bring back home. This place was cheaper than a hotel room. Cleanest place we have ever stayed. Has everything you need. Location was perfect. Beach is a short walk. Would stay again.

Perfect!!!

I stumbled upon peppers cottage while looking for a nice place to stay for our visit to the OBX. This little cottage was perfect for us!!! The inside is beautiful, the bed is comfy and the bathroom is big enough. It’s was wonderful for my wife and I. We don’t require a lot and like things to be simple. I loved that the kitchen for fully equipped and looked great!! We truly loved “peppers” and would love to return in the future. Email and telephone communications where good as well.
