Got off to a great start by allowing us to check-in early instead of just dropping off luggage for storage. All staff were congenial. Front desk helped with transportation and gave recommendations for local activities. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Restaurant had a limited menu but was happy to prepare gluten free meals for me twice.

The room was adequate. I was caught off guard with the proprietary parking for $53.11 (includes taxes) per night. We sail out of Galveston frequently, but this was the first time staying here. We will not be staying here in the future, as there are better choices in the area.

The only complaint I have is when making reservations it did not ask me to reserve valet parking which is all they have at this location. I tried to contact location morning of my check in no answer so I communicated through messages. When I inquired about valet they said that is only option for this property so I figured I was good. When arriving at check in I was told valet was already full and I’d have to do a parking garage around the block.
