It was a very nice property. We were in not on the property, but in a different building than the mansion itself like an old apartment elevator was slow. They need walk up out of the elevator and walk down eight flights of stairs to get to your room and it just wasn’t worth the money and if you wanted, I had to walk out of the building about a block up to get to the main building to get your eyes and breakfast and stuff never did get a chance to use the pool. It was quite a ways out from everything and there was a couple restaurants close by, but they were dirty and gross

The room was underwhelming and not as advertised. Dissapointingly bare and lacked the advertised view. A let down -- sparse furnishings and misleading photos -- we definitely did not have the seperate seating area. Such a great stay! Some of the staff were excellent to work with and have conversations with. The room was large and quaint. The pool was secluded and fairly quiet. Convenient location for walking to eat and explore. The only issue we had was the shower only out out hot water and we couldn’t take a shower because it was too hot. They told us the plumber could not come on the weekend. We had the option to switch to a queen room or keep or king room. Apart from that issue this was a great place to stay.

Beautiful 1884 mansion, I called to request the Queen 5 cottage in back for privacy. It didn't disappoint, great A/C, fans, bed comfie, the bathtub a little hard to get out of, a grab bar would help. Emily is the BEST of the staff, went above and beyond! They all remembered our names, what room we were in and it was cleaned daily, a nice surprise and nice pool area! All the staff were friendly, we had waters, sodas & snacks available at all times! Also it is in a quiet residential neighborhood, away from noisy bars.
