Location is the best for Lincoln Center. Rooms good, however, heating was hard to regulate and ended up turning it off and my desk had no chair for it.

I was leery in getting this room after all the sour reviews. Sure, there are some stains on the curtains(?) and signs of wear, but the bed was great, the room was very clean and the shower was nice. It was a great price for an area of the city that doesn’t have many options.

The staff is nice and professional. The lobby represents a quality stylish hotel. The rooms are showing a wornout history. The water is not drinkable, it has a milky color and the staff advises against it. They do offer free bottles of water at the front desk. We had to be moved to another room due to a strong mildew odor. The second room did not have a bad odor. It took close to a full 5 minutes to get hot water. The TV's are dated and not smart. We choose hotels that have gyms, but there was a very strong sewage odor on the floor with the gym that made it impossible to workout. I'm not sure if this was part of what we smelled in the original room we we were moved from or not. We were attracted to the photos and location. We made the best of it.

Staff was great! Rooms were clean and the housekeeping team was on top of it every day, but the rooms were very outdated and quite damaged. One curtain was broken, our closet door was off of its hinges, the restrooms had clear signs of water damage in the walls and on the ceiling, and some parts of the walls were bulging and warped. The main areas were beautiful, but the rooms themselves could use some serious repairs and updating. Other than that, I would stay here again. I loved the location and proximity to everything.

Room was in terrible condition. Bed was coming apart. Sink and soap dish were falling off the wall. Everytime we had to use the sink the water sloshed out onto us and the floor because it was so tilted and falling off of the wall. Horrble old bathroom. Shower sprayer did not work. Closet rod was 7 feet high. Couldnt reach it. Crummy curtain on closet, no door..no room number on outside of room. Worst hotel ive ever stayed in. Complained to desk who did nothing. Room 432. Shouldn' t even be booked out. Banged up floor molding and bathroom door. Terribly uncomfortable beds like a rock! Miserable experience!

Bathroom entirely too small. No coffee in the room! Hotel is old, clean, stylish but dated. Mattress on both beds was AWFUL. Felt like a cardboard box with minimal padding. Staff was friendly and helpful and location was superb. My guess is that the great location gives them a pass on having to have nice things. Very tourist oriented clientele due to location.

I would love to love this hotel for the location, but my last two stays there were unacceptable. Unbearably hot room this stay. 80 degrees. Last stay the room was ice cold. The room thermostats did not function. Shower curtain was held together with rusty safety pins. Added an additional night to my stay and was told I could stay in the same room, but instead had to check out in the AM and check back in later in the afternoon. Really bad.
