We ended up having to leave one room to stay in another due to the first room not having hot water in the shower. It was also very worn and dirty. The second room had hot water, but the shower backed up with water almost immediately, and therefore we had to shower very quickly to avoid letting the water spill over the edge of the shower and into the bathroom.

Run down property, poorly trained management

Room had a nauseatingly strong chlorine smell and was very dirty. Big piles of dust around the bed and trash on floor. Water damage on ceiling and in bathrooms and overall run down neglected atmosphere. Took staff several hours to move us to a different room after showing us another room just as chemical smelly and dirty. The room we finally got was okay but kept having pieces of the ceiling falling into the bed while sleeping. Location is great and the maid Martha and the door men were wonderful but the front desk staff and management was unprofessional, uninformed and not very customer solution minded.

You can't beat the location!!! You have a wonderful rooftop area where you can chill out and take the sun, have a dip in the pool, and a bite to eat. Step outside the hotel and everything is at your finger tips!!! I would stay again

I would like to start off that this has been our third time staying at hotel Empire since it’s very close to the college where my daughter attends, and this has far almost been the worst experience. The bathroom was horrible shower was never hot. It was always cool to warm. We had issues with the toilet every day. Our room was supposed to be turned down. We came in and it was not. We had to call down to the front desk 2 to 3 times. Ask what happened and in addition to the TV is not given the guide so it’s a mysterious mystery on what channel you actually going to because there’s no channel document on what channels you get with your room. I’m not sure if we would be back
