loved that it had a full working kitchen unit with in-washer and dryer unit. in addition to the kitchen, it came with kitchenware and silverware, very much appreciated! our space was clean when we entered and was easy to navigate around. amenities were great with the rooftop and fitness center for longer stays. we really loved the supply station downstairs when running low on toiletries. the staff were amazing at attending our needs, huge thanks to them! thank you sonder at battery park

Absolutely amazing! I made sure to read so many reviews prior to booking and of course there are some things to be cautious of but overall my partner and I had a GREAT stay! Such easy transportation, the view from the rooftop and our room on the 16th floor were spectacular! It was quiet and clean and provided more than we even needed.

Lovely property but the door code did not work and had to have the front desk let me in every time. Dryer did not dry clothes. Had to pack wet things. Bedside light did not work. Called down for a bulb but never arrived.

Good place to stay! However, I would recommend that they improve their cleanliness and maintenance. The property floors could be cleaner, and the golf room needs attention—there’s only a left-handed golf set, and the ball placement area is broken. Housekeeping was also lacking. I wish my room had been cleaned daily or at least every other day, but no one came to clean it or check if I needed essentials like fresh towels, toilet paper, or lotion during my stay. Additionally, I had to wait an extra hour for my room because they forgot to inform the housekeeper to clean it. That said, I really loved having my own kitchen, washer, and dryer. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel, which made my stay much more comfortable.

Amazing Stay in NY

This was an incredible place to stay. Very spacious, modern, and comfortable. A short walk to multiple subway stations made it easy to get anywhere in the city! A quiet part of town with great views made it a perfect place to end each day. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Sonder Battery Park two years previous to this review and how freaky is this: not only was my reservation for the same studio but on this visit I experienced another room incident just like last visit (not of my making) resulting in a room change (cue Twilight Zone music). The on-site manager offered genuine apologies and had the matter resolved swiftly. I agreed to be moved to an extended stay studio on the 6th floor: some of these rooms including mine have little natural light, you wouldn't tell night from day....this was a slight bummer but I sucked it up. The room has enough lamps etc to create a cosy ambiance (gotta look for those realtor positives). My new room had recently been given a lick of paint, overall the space was clean and fresh. The climate was perfect for January, bed comfortable, bathroom spotless and all the kitchen utensil I could ever need for a cook off. This was my fourth stay at a Sonder property. If I had one complaint, the soft furnishings (sofas) would benefit from regular deep cleaning of stains and dust. So far I can't fault the customer service via the app or on location. At Sonder Battery Park Front of House and Facilities Staff (repairs) have made my stay pleasent they've been on point. Perfect but one thing

So great. only thing was our code did work half the time. we even were trying to get into our room the same time as our neighbor and even their code wasn’t working aswell. however the room was gorgeous, the view was amazing. and the rooftop was such a cool view
