Hotel is relatively new with high ceilings and exposed piping and air conditioning. Everywhere the hotel was very clean and the staff always pleasant and helpful.. we were on the fourth floor which had a metal roof. During rainy windy weather it was very loud in the room.

It’s a cool hotel in a blah area and the staff were full. We’ve stayed multiple times because it’s the best in the area but it lacks something. It’s clearly had a nice face lift but it’s a bit dull.

This property is very clean and updated and easy to get to off the interstate. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only reason this isn't a 5-star rating is because you can hear the room next to you very easily. Will absolutely stay again!

An absolutely terrible hotel. If you're thinking this is a real Hyatt and Hyatt quality, think again. It is absolutely not and one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. Immediately upon checking into my room (after noticing the digital card reader was completely ripped off from the door which again I've never seen at a Hyatt), I walked in and saw a dirty rag and cleaning spray on the floor. Have honestly never seen that in 30+ years of staying at hotels. The room looked dirty with very cheap shabby chic decor. And forget about getting a good night's sleep. It is incredibly loud as the walls appear to be made out of paper (you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms); it also had a wall AC (which I suppose may be common in New York?)...I certainly would not have stayed at the hotel had I known that b/c of my allergies and I had to keep the wall AC off the entire time I was there. The hotel is also right off the highway so there's nothing around you so I would grab dinner before heading back to my hotel. The first night I tried to order dinner from the hotel itself and used their QR code (which is the only way you can order food). I then immediately got a call from their kitchen/front desk telling me they are out of pasta (which is not what I had ordered at all); I had to place my dinner order at least 3 times before they finally got it right. If you're coming to NYC to either visit or for work, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
This is what I walked into when I checked into my room, cleaning spray and dirty rag on the room floor.

Most of the reviews I have seen are accurate. Very noisy from room to room with paper thin walls. The hotel is not in a very convenient location to the town, and I would say quite unkempt for an establishment that charges such a high nightly rate. The staff members were nice, but policies were not very accommodating (late checkout charge no matter how many minutes/hours are requested). Destination fee is just nickel and diming patrons for no addes benefit. I will gladly stay elsewhere next time I am in the area.
