Basi clean room bit cramped in bathroom toilet right next to shower door. Good location for major tourist attractions.
No coffee or tea making facilities in room but you could ask for at reception.
The coffee making machine at reception was out of order during our stay. Breakfast options very good . Due to our early flight we requested breakfast bag to go which was ready on time for colletion.
The property was perfect for me: it was easy to check in and check out, it was a 12 minute walk to the Oslo S where I caught all my trains, the tram was right outside, a store on the corner, and places to eat nearby - what else do you need. The view of the bridge and little water opposite the hotel was lovely as well.
Clean and comfortable but no frills. Tv in my bedroom wasn’t connected to internet; no kettle in bathroom but the man at reception kindly boiled some for me so I could take a flask on the long train journey!
Great breakfast. If you want coffee in your room just ask and they have kettle etc. all ready. Hotel is just two stops on 4 tram lines from Central Station.
Overall it was a good stay. Breakfast was excellent. Just no shampoo and conditioner. It was surprising when you’re taking a shower and recognize that shampoo is empty. No towels exchange. You need to go to reception to take towels and even shampoo. The key card needed to exchange every day. It worked in the morning and didn’t work in the evening each day. We were staying for 3 nights.
Everything was fine except no air condition with only a very small window opening. We are mid May, can’t imagine how warm in must be latter during summer
All good, nice Asian fusion restaurant very close by. By Oslo standards very reasonable prices.
Breakfast was OK but very busy but it was norway national day.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Shabby, overcrowded, and ok location
The location is on the grittier East side of town (especially walking South towards the sketchy train station). Cross the bridge just to the North of the hotel and you're in a totally different world. It's vibrant and hip with many cool restaurants, bars, and cafes (there's also a laundromat nearby). The staff are pleasant when not overwhelmed, which can happen especially in the mornings. The breakfast buffet is average/below-average in quality and variety, but given the hordes of crowds you would think the food's gourmet. The room gets the job done, but everything is shabby (i.e. my Ikea window curtains that were not thick enough to block any light). The shower in the bathroom is very odd with these folding walls/doors. You can't run the water too long or the drain in the floor would flood the bathroom.
