Roger, this man is a lifesaver! We arrived at this hotel tired from several days of skiing. We were pleased to see a free spa with jacuzzis and a sauna. It has a beautiful interior and smells/looks so clean. There were also snacks and drinks to purchase up front. We had to be at the airport at 4:30 a.m. the next morning but didn’t rent a car. The taxis were also all refusing to drive us. But Roger, the front desk manager at the time, so kindly offered to drive us and all of our luggage to the airport. We were so grateful and relieved. I’m not sure what we are would’ve done without him!!!! We wished we could’ve stayed longer in this beautiful place. Cannot recommend it enough!

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It was a busy holiday weekend with a big old car show in town. This hotel is on a busy intersection so the traffic noise was an issue but no fault of the hotel. The breakfast was good and we had an excellent evening meal in the cozy dining room.

Older hotel with decor from another era.

Older building with older furniture to match the theme. Best for people looking for "character." Was wholly unimpressed with poor selections for breakfast. Centrally located, street parking is probably best option.

Extraction fan noise too loud.

The extraction fan on the room made an unreasonable loud sound that made sleeping very difficult. Other than that, the hotel is beautiful, being an old theater converted.

A decent hotel for an overnight stay. Read the fine print. I made a mistake for not doing it and got a rather claustrophobic room with no windows. There’s the whole floor of them. The room was very clean although a bit shabby. Breakfast was good.

great experience, nice spa, good breakfast

really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel did a great job complying with the COVID-19 restrictions and still offering a great experience for its guests. the spa was nice and the staff very friendly although the front desk guy had to be all over the place handling the breakfast buffet and the reception at the same time. looking forward to returning to this beautiful hotel in normal times when there's supposed to be even a larger variety of breakfast items as the staff pointed out.

Convenient and clean

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the central bus station in Ostersund It’s like a living antique which has managed to maintain an old fashioned feel combined with being clean and a modern bathroom Breakfast was good Only downside is that the room was slightly noisy due to thin wooden walls and creaking floorboards in the corridor - but you can live with that!

Spesiell opplevelse å overnatte i et gammelt teate

Rask innsjekk og utsjekk. Kult konsept med hotell i gamle teaterlokaler! Det finnes et ekte flott og gammelt teater inne i hotellets hjerte, og det er plassert en rekke eksklusive gamle møbler rundt omkring i fasilitetene. Det er stilig, men noe dårlig vedlikehold skaper også sjarm. Rommet var stort, men manglet bl.a. glass for den 3. personen som skulle ligge på rommet. Den ekstra senga måtte vi selv montere og legge sengetøy på. Frokosten var ikke mye å skryte av. Kun helt basic utvalg. Enkelte ting, som f.eks. eggerøra, var ikke bra. Alt i alt meget god verdi for pengene da prisen var i det laveste sjiktet.
