Rauhallinen Lomatalo metsäalueella Ouray

Nauti paras kaunein Ouray ja ympäröivä erämaa meidän loma talo, joka sijaitsee Ouray kaupungin rajojen mutta istuu metsäinen paljon näkymät Uncompahgre joki. Joki ja joen polku pääsee käytävän päähän. Ouray Hot Springs -allas on 15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä talomme pitkin joen polkua. Ruokalistomme näkyy Gold Hillissä, jossa lumi sulaa luodessaan vesiputouksen keväällä ja alkukesästä. Rentoudu edessä patio edessä mukava tulipalo tai sytytä bar-b-que ja syödä ulkona varjossa San Juan Mountains. Kauppa ja virkistys Ourayssä ja paluu hiljaiseen kotiin metsässä, jossa hirvi usein vaeltaa pihan läpi.

Great Views

We flew up for a winter trip with the family. The house was great. Lots of great and lots to do in the town and close to many other towns. The driveway can get a little slick in the winter so definitely recommend 4wd if staying in the snow/icy times.

Wonderful Home

We enjoyed the home both inside and out. Loved the yard and outdoor seating and fire pit for evening relaxation and hanging out with family. Inside was spacious with a wonderful kitchen table and view. Peaceful and quiet location close to downtown and activities. Carl was wonderful and helpful. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Quiet and Comfortable

A clean, nice and great location house. The picnic table in the photos has been replaced by a new table with 6 metal chairs with cushions. Great for outdoor dinning. Just relaxing outdoors was very enjoyable. The charcoal grill was great for cooking. The house has everything needed except for a small caveat. Since we spent 2 weeks here we cooked most of our meals and the non stick skillets were so bad even bacon stuck to them. There replacement would make cooking perfect. The garage made it nice to keep our vehicle in.

Convenient location with mountain view

The property is close to trailheads, the river, hot springs, and Ouray shops, but still feels private and has a view of the mountains surrounding Ouray. It is a great base for exploring the San Juans and we would stay here again.

Beautiful Mountain Home

We all loved this house! It is close to the center of Ouray but in a quiet location with woods behind and a fabulous view from the front yard. The house was so comfortable and very clean as well. We will definitely book this location again on a future trip to Ouray.

loved the San Juan mountains

The location was great and as described: close enough to town but away enough as well. We enjoyed the San Juan mountains and had a great time. However, I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the house...very dusty, floor sticky in some spots, bedding wrinkled when turned down, appearing as if it was slept in and not washed. When I proceeded to wash it, I found the mattress cover to be stained as well as 2 of the pillows...need replacing(?). We also found the bath towels to be dingy, slightly stained, barely folded and appeared to be thrown into the cabinet. Also, the sofa appeared to be pieced together with new fabric seat cushions on a leather sofa, which kept sliding forward and off the frame when we sat on them. I did communicate these issues with the manager and eventually heard from the owner, who stated if anything needed replacing they would do so and that they would definitely speak to their housekeeper regarding the issues mentioned. I am aware of difficulties managing a VRBO and I was grateful for his reply. I hope that those improvements will be in place for the next rentors as the locations was great, the bed was comfortable and we did overall enjoy the stay.
