- complicated booking/check in system. Confirmed as accepted... Followed later by many emails requesting same info - to the extent i emailed them asking if I had been scammed. Silence then. Upon check in, more of the same! Check in from 3pm. Arrived after well 4. Room not ready. Had told them eta. Many rooms not ready. When finally I gained access I found that the fridge did not work - essential for my medication. Change of room....time wasted.
At time of my stay, only one small lift operating. Ridiculous.
Towels small and very well used. Limited drying - and I'm a small person.
Room cleaned/serviced once during my 11 day stay. No teabags/coffee...
First morning queried the air conditioning. Oh that doesnt come on until May!
Two fire alarms late in the evening. Upon descending, receptionist checking in new arrivals. No one checking those assembling on street. 2nd time I stayed in my room. No check.
Asked reception for location of nearest Tourist Office. Grudgingly given and as for directions of how to get there.... Two other times I asked for help. One time told repeatedly to get a taxi in spite of my stating that I was not going to. Another time receptionist repeatedly left me waiting whilst she dealt with others. Rude. This also happened when checking out. Obviously not there to help.
2 good things - lovely clean shopping mall, with a supermarket part of the complex and metro directly opposite. Place d'Italie very pretty.
