I loved this hotel! As a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe and welcomed at this hotel. The entire staff is friendly and kind! The rooms were beautiful and the pool was just what I needed in this humidity! Would definitely stay again!

A quiet oasis among the mayhem that is Phnom Penh !! Excellent location. West entrance reflects the tranquility of the nearby palace - South entrance is more Phnom Penh 😀 Staff were excellent.

Perfect Resort in the Heart of Phnom Penh

The whole place is perfect. Service is 5-star and its’s literally in front of the palace and monites walk from the national museum and the riverside. Khmer-French art everywhere in the hotel! If you are in Phnom Penh, I’ll only stay here.

Very nice stay for a couple of nights. It is best to get around the area by using Grab rather than negotiating with people outside. Only cost 70 pence (UK) to go for a bite to eat at Bassac Street where you will find some nice bars and restaurants (highly recommend the Greek Restuarant and the Pizza place, we usually eat local but fancied a change having been away for nearly 3 weeks). Hotel has good pool and lovely view of the palace. Make sure you go up to the bar for sunset. Bet view of the palace at sunset in the city. Gym was well equipped but rather hot as air con hadn’t been on prior to our arrival. Breakfast was ok but not the best I’ve had on offer but by no means the worst. Plenty of hot and cold options. Lovely setting in 100 year old building with plenty of character. Would stay again.

Amazing views of the nearby Royal Palace from the sky bar. Great breakfast buffet and service staff. Tasteful hotel decoration with authentic Khmer art instantly creates a local atmospheres that can’t be found in run-of-the-mill international chains.

We had 2 nights at Palace Gate and loved it. Service was excellent, the pool was perfect and the ambience of the restaurant and two bars made for a memorable stay.
