Safety Hazards for Families – Avoid if Traveling with Young Children
We booked 5 nights here but fled after the second night due to safety concerns and appalling service.
Dangerous Water Park: The kids' water park is a hazard. The sprinklers are so heavy you can't see where you are going. I injured my back on the slide on day one and couldn't walk for two days. My child also fell on the second day.
Zero Accessibility: Because I was immobile, my husband asked for a second key card. Reception told him they wouldn’t give one and that he should come to the desk every time he needed to get into the room so they could walk him up. He had to fight for a basic second key.
Terrible Location: The resort is on a steep hill with no footpaths. It’s surrounded by heavy traffic and motorbikes, making it impossible to walk anywhere with a stroller or young kids. You are essentially "trapped" in the resort.
Poor Communication: The staff struggled significantly with English, making it impossible to report the injury or discuss a checkout. They refused to answer the phone when Expedia called to help us mediate.
We lost 3 nights of money because the hotel refused any credit or refund, but our family's safety was more important. Parents, please look elsewhere. The water park may make it look like a kid friendly hotel, but it's not.
