We stay here with friends for 3 days. The place is beautiful,room is clean, close to everything and the stuff are so nice. The only thing is hard is to get coins for parking so you better get ready for that lol. But the over all experience is wonderful 👌

Property is right on the water. Nice day beds on the waters edge. Room Balcony overlooking the pool out to the waters edge. Has a very authentic feel about the property. Close to everything.

The property looks just like the oics. We were on the main level, cute patio with table 2 chairs qnd a hammock. If you leave the doorwall cracked you can hear the ocean waves from bed. It was a comfortable room with everything we needed. We were steps from the beach, it was small but plenty of loungers. The fishing boats park out front, it was fun watching to see if they brought in a catch. It was not really water you want to swim in, but the pool ru s right between the rooms and there is a public beach a very short walkind distance away. You could order breakfast the day before and they will bring it to your oatio. Very good and alot of food for the money. The restaurant next door walks over to the beach during the day with menus and will deliver your food and drinks. Prices reasonable and the best food. Loved the mixed ceviche' They also cooked up a plate if the fresh catch for us they we saw the fisherman bring in. The hotel is boutique style, quiet and relaxing, but when you walk one block behind it is a party! Music, restaurants, shopping. We also liked " party taco" on the street behind the hotel. Open late night and yummy tacos and burritos made fresh. Carlo the hotel concierge was also so helpful and knowledgeable. We had an absolutely wonderful time!! Would highly recommend

Property was a small boutique hotel. We had a presidential suite, well worth the upgrade. The beach is very small, so If you are beach going, like we are you will have to walk down a few blocks to a public beach. That beach is very nice.The price was right on the mark for this hotel. The location is great as far as being waterfront and very close to the main shopping and dining street in playa del Carmen.

I last stayed at Playa Palms quite a few years ago and I was pleasantly surprised that the friendliness of staff and conditions of the hotel still stayed the same. Excellent… Considering it is close to nightclubs and the busy 5ta avenida the rooms are very quiet. As a solo traveler I felt safe and found everything conveniently located, very walkable. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Very nice friendly people working here. The nite light outside the office i could have done without as it lit up our room at night. I was under the impression that we were seafront. Like a rock wall docking area since beach area was washed away. Not their fault but not was i was expecting. Overall very nice and already planning on returning next year

The private beach for the property has washed almost completely away. Pictures of hotel need to be updated. There's about 20ft of sand from the end of the deck. Very disappointing on that front. Aside from that, it was a nice place. Pretty, quiet, security at the door on the overnights. Not much in terms of food or drink though. Besides a small breakfast, you have to leave the hotel for everything. No kitchen or bar.

Exceptional place to stay located close to groceries, kitchenette offset the escalating hyperinflation around playa del carmen. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Their pool and landscaping very stylish and unique. We unfortunately lost our key and were charged 25$ in which unfortunately would not be be something I would do in my business, mistakes have to be made to learn. Swim able beach is a short 5 minute walk and they do have lawn chairs overlooking the blue ocean.

Great staff! They were helpful and kept the property and rooms extremely clean. While this is ocean front property the beach is very small and not really swimable. I would not stay here with kids. But it was great for a couple just wanting to relax on the beach. The location is great. Dozens of dining and shopping options within easy walking distance. We walked everywhere and never felt unsafe.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is amazing, right on the beach and just down the street from 5th Ave. The staff were all great and the hotel is really nice with views of the ocean.

This hotel was beautiful and affordable! It was only a few minutes walk from food and shopping. The only cons were that the listing said it had a gym, it does not…and technically it has beachfront access, but it’s not really a beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

El apart-hotel es muy lindo y está en muy buenas condiciones pero tuvimos varios problemas. El wifi asignado a nuestro cuarto no existía (hay una red para cada cuarto), teníamos que conectarnos a otras redes que nos iban dando, otra cosa que considero grave es que no fueron puntuales con el horario de desayuno. Te lo llevan a tu cuarto al horario que pides el día anterior. Un día demoró más de una hora y al día siguiente casi una hora. Si tienes que salir a una excursión o a tomar tu vuelo te lo pierdes. Una lástima porque es muy bonito todo, incluso volvería si mejoran esos detalles.

Central location although nearby area noisy late at night, however hotel itself was quiet. Car parking problematic, concierge very helpful in this matter. limited beach area due corrosion. good hotel staff & communication. Room cleaning was exceptional. Would use again based on value.
