The check-instaff was not friendly. I asked for late checkout for an hour and was told no. The evening snacks were late and seemed to not be enough and I thought were taken early. The breakfast was good but staff seemed to be not enough. I have stayed many times at that embassy suites near Washington Square and it has always been really wonderful so I hope it will improve.

The telephone in the bedroom had a layer of dust and we got out into a handicap room without asking for one. The bedroom carpet from the bathroom is all frayed and portions of the carpet need to be trimmed back. The rooms are tired. I’m in hospitality for 55 yrs

We arrived late after a long travel day—eager for sleep and a shower. Our one year old needed a bottle but there was no hot water. We woke up to take cold showers only to be told the boiler broke and there hasn’t been hot water. Why pay for a hotel when you can’t take care of yourself and your family. Very inconvenient. I’m frustrated that I paid money for this stay.

There was a lot of dust in the room. Bathroom had hair on sink and bathtub. Seen worse so not horrible. Ants crawling on the night stand. Stayed 2 nights and did not get room service to replace towels. We asked for towels on night 2 and they said we would get them in 20 min but waited almost an hour for them. Breakfast was good. Parking gets full.
