Cool to stay in a classic apartment central to many things, with bolhao market right across the street. The bedroom got a little hot since the AC couldn't reach the room very well. Some underrated benefits: fridge with freezer, kitchenette to reheat leftover food, TV with youtube. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay

The Youropo Bolhão apartments are the perfect place to stay in Porto. It is centrally located, across the street from the “must see” Mercado do Bolhão. It is just outside the always crowded Ribiera district of the old town but is still just a 10-minute walk from the river. It is less than a 20-minute walk from every major site in the old town, including the port wine cellars in Gaia and the Crystal Palace gardens. The apartment is in a beautiful old building that has been completely refurbished. The age of the building was an advantage when the multi-country power outage occurred. The rooms still use mechanical keys, which work even without electricity. The apartment itself, we were in 3C, was wonderful, with a sitting area and a fully equipped kitchen and windows overlooking the street. Taking advantage of the kitchen is easy, given there is a regular grocery store right next door. As other reviewers have pointed out, the staff is great. When we checked in Nuno gave us maps and restaurant suggestions. Every other staff member we interacted with was equally helpful. The AC unit in the apartment started acting up on Friday, the night we arrived, and the staff could not contact a technician, but they tried to fix it themselves. It would work for about 4 hours and then stop. The staff did provide us with a fan, and were concerned about our comfort, and that the AC was not working. We highly recommend Youropo Bolhão. When we go back to Porto we will definitely stay here again

Excellent apartment with a great location. 1 block from the subway, 3 stops from the train station. Staff is super helpful and friendly. They can book various outings for you and will call venues to get the info you request. All appliances except a dishwasher. Has a wash/ dryer combo in the unit. Mid size fridge, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, oven, 4 burner stovetop, iron and board, and hair dryer. Shower is great, lots of pressure and hot water. One dowside, there was no drawers to unpack your clothing into. Was a hanger system with 10 hanger available. Will book the is again. They use WhatsApp, so ensure your on line with that. Apartments are 10 minute walk to the water front. Lots of eating options within 5 minutes of walking.

Great apartment! Spacious with a complete kitchen. Great for having coffee in yhe mornings. In the center of Porto yet quiet at night. Wonderful staff, fantastic communication, very helpful.
