Nothing wrong with the physical place or the staff but it was proposed as a convenient location “ steps from the. Birch and the beach” it is located half way uptown good 30 minutes walk to downtown positano , over 200 steps to the smaller beach ( Fornillo) … overall not worh the price for the distance . Positano is not for people out of shape . You walk a lot you climb many steps and you do that under the sun and when it’s hot … I think these thing should be more precise in Expedia . I would have not reserved this hotel room just because it was inconvenient

This is a beautiful old hotel that is quiet and very unique in design much like the town. There are a lot of stairs. A porter service is recommended. Restaurants, shopping and the town center are in walking distance but it requires steps and some uphill. The breakfast was good. Only problem was it was not served until later in am if you are going out for day trip.

We loved our stay at Casa Teresa! The breakfast was delicious, and was set on a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view of Positano. The owners were very welcoming and responsive to anything we needed or had questions about. We would definitely stay here again!

Cons: Major ant infestation issue (need to hire an exterminator; we were advised to eat on the terrace to prevent more ants from entering our room), mini fridge not cleaned recently (filled with mold in the freezer compartment), lightbulbs needed replacement, grout missing/falling out in shower, no blackout curtains, lack of bedding (only a quilt and top sheet), no where to hang shower towels, furniture missing handles, toilet partial flush broken and only the full flush was working. Pros: breakfast was ok with a nice view.

Casa Teresa is very hard to find and there are many many steps. There are several hotels in the same area next to each other. Very confusing. Room was nice with a beautiful sea view. Breakfast was plentiful. Hotel is a long uphill trip not close to town. We paid porters to bring our luggage.Enzo was very helpful .

Positano casa Teresa

Accommodations were ok , we thought from the pics that we would have more space being that we were a family of 5 but it was tight . Also sofa bed was very uncomfortable for the 2 of us . We gave the kids the beds since they didn’t want to be separated . View from hotel was beautiful

Lovely stay for rustic charm

Lovely stay in Positano. It's a family run business so it definitely has a rustic charm, but it's not the most accessible from town, it's about a 20 minute walk. Our green room was beautiful though, even if the bed isn't the most comfortable (but if you like a firm mattress you will be happy). The decor in the room was fantastic, just as advertised in the photos, and eating breakfast outside in the morning air and the views of Positano and partially of the ocean was just *chefs kiss.* Check in and check out was pretty slow, but since it's a family run business, that was kind of expected.

Property was an incredibly cute place with custom rooms, drinkable water and just a short walk from some great bars and restaurants. Check in was easy and they walked us right to our room. Very friendly.

Valentina was super helpful regarding the hotel and everything else we needed help with. She was a great interpreter for me trying to locate family members. The hotel is extremely clean and we had a very spacious room. We would highly recommend staying there. Cant wait for our return stay at Sikelia.
