Great place to stay close to WSU campus. Nothing fancy, but clean and easy. Breakfast was grab and go and basic, but less hot food options than you’d normally see at a hotel breakfast. Regardless—easy for grab and go and plenty of other food options close by.

What an amazing experience I had staying at the Coast Hotel. The service was amazing. First night, received a free bottle of wine. On the 2nd day, my room key wasn’t working and I had the best help from a girl with blonde hair and a wazu sweatshirt. Her customer service is amazing and I give her 10 stars for her help!

we usually always stay at the Marriott when in Pullman but the Hilltop had an incredible rate and MOST IMPORTANT a hot tub which they cleaim hasn’t worked for a couple of weeks i have a hot tub they can be serviced and repairs in just a few days plus if the pool or hot tubs are down that’s part of the stay and residents should be informed

The staff were all really nice. There were a lot of hairs in our bed. Since the hotel was booked we were given clean sheets and changed them ourselves. The breakfast is decent enough but all the coffee had run out and wasn’t replenished for the 20 minutes we were eating.

Overall, an okay stay — nothing terrible, but definitely not great either. The breakfast was meh and less than desirable. There were waffles, but the rest felt like an afterthought: a dorm-style fridge with prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, hard-boiled eggs, and egg whites. Only a minimal amount of food was put out at a time, and once it was gone, it stayed that way unless you asked the (very slow-moving) staff to replace it. The dining area itself wasn’t very clean, which didn’t help the experience. No flavored creamers or hot chocolate were available — when I asked, I was told no, and got a blank stare like it was a strange question. Even the tea selection was minimal (literally three packets). The rooms were fine, though — clean enough, and I appreciated having both a fridge and a microwave. One small but odd detail: why are the coffee pots placed on the bathroom sink when there’s a perfectly good table in the room? In short: decent for a night or two, but the breakfast setup and attention to detail could use some serious improvement.
