Rooms very destroyed and dirty, roaches walking around like they are home, air conditioning not cooling and getting broken, maids barely clean, you can notice that bathrooms are dirty from long before. You have to wait long lines to get into the restaurant, the menu is very similar everyday with minimal variety, minimal seefood given that you are at the beach. Coffee is from button machines/dispensers, not good at all. Very dissapointed in general. Personnel were kind but many had an attitude toward turists.

I have been to this resort 4 times, just got back 3 days ago and I’m already planning our 5th stay at this resort. I got married here back and 2015 and the resort just keeps getting better each time. Everything from the rooms comfortability and cleanliness to the delicious food options and onsite daily activities is amazing. They have activities at the beach and pool like art, rum tasting, aerobics, a foam party and much more. They have nightly events in their theatre room/ lobby. This was the first time I’ve been back since 2018 and they added a water park for kids, my twins loved it. I always recommend this hotel!

Bedroom sheets smelly and stained; thankfully they replaced it when i asked. The gym opens later than advertised and has aged equipment. At one breakfast, dining staff didn’t clean the table thoroughly in between guests. Vouchers given to us by booking thru Expedia is a joke, you have to go out of your way to find where it can be redeemed. Pools have lifeguards that reinforce safety rules, water park was great. foam party for kids and adults was great. Italian restaurant was superb.

The benefits they offered was a booklet. And anywhere you tried to redeem them they would tell you that you couldn’t. We opted for an upgrade to have adjoining rooms and that what was a waste of money. The hotel is 30 years old and you can tell. The pools look rundown and the only saving grace was the splash park they had. This year the beach was full of sargassum so we couldn’t enjoy it. They need more activities to do with guests to engage people more as well. The initial conversation with the front desk was a poor experience they never treated us with VIP. Also there were busloads of locals arriving that caused a trashy experience, I never recommend this hotel to anyone.

This resort is amazing, the pictures do not do the property justice it is sooo beautiful. The hospitality is amazing everyone is so helpful, it’s a family resort but the kids aren’t any bother because the staff keeps them busy and the resort has plenty of things to do for all ages. Booking through Expedia gives you so many perks on the resort as well, I got free room service every day of our stay, 10% off of spa treatments and so much more. If you’re are on the fence just book it the resort is great and you get a lot for the money you pay, don’t hesitate. I know I will be returning.

The service was terrible if we didn’t tip we wouldn’t even get water which is horrible since it’s an all inclusive I feel the tip should be earned. We weren’t informed about our VIP privileges until a day before I checked out (I stayed a week) and I was giving a different room than what I paid for and when I told them they didn’t even try to apologize or switch me rooms. I will never be staying there again. The place is beautiful but the service and staff ruins your whole experience.

The property grounds are the only positive. Room had open sewer line releasing bad odor in the air and roaches coming in. Mentioned to front desk, and no one showed or cared Kids caught hands, foot, mouth disease. Assuming from the pool not being clean I ate a dessert that tasted like it was sitting in fish water. Dessert was a vanilla cake Bell boy never showed after being told he would be there in 5 mins. We carried our luggage and babies manually (no elevator) Staff was 50/50 nice vs attitude. (I always tip$)

Service was outstanding in regards to staff. However if you are looking for dining options this is not the place to go. You NEED to have a reservation no matter what restaurant, the food is poor quality, gave stomach aches. Safest bet, go to the buffet.
