had a great, quiet, and restful stay at the pentahotel Reading. Everything went smoothly throughout my visit, and the room was kept very clean with fresh towels provided every day. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. Great stay!

Great location, funky decor, big room with a lovely bathroom, fab staff and they were happy to take care of our bags. Bar was quite expensive and there was some road noise from outside but I would definitely stay again.

Staff had difficulty understanding english. Room was noisy as the window whilst secured shut had space in the sealing and was cool. The heating contols saind it was 26 but it was not a suna probably nearer 18 degrees. Otherwise the hotel was ok

The bedroom and bathroom was very clean and breakfast was well cooked and was satisfactory for most people's taste buds.There was a variety of food and the hotel had a really tasty banana loaf,which was very moist and light. The area was very convenient and easy to access. The only thing I was unhappy about was the rust on the wire shower rack and brown marks at the bottom of the shower screen.

The stay wasn't as good as the first time we stayed. The room seems to not be as clean and tidy and their was parts of the decore coming off especially in the bathroom a bove the shower. The ceiling had crumbling paint and the toilet had a brown stain in the bowl. The sink again wasn't tidy as it was last year. The bed also wasn't comfortable, it's advertised as a king size bed, which infact was two single beds joined together leaving a uncomfortable crack down the middle of the bed. Also no king size duvet, rather two single duvets, no very nice when trying to relax with my wife. All in all not a great stay, but not the worst we have encountered. Think the hotel needs a revamp and maybe putting in a comfortable bed with a comfortable mattress without any cracks down the bed and a proper king size duvet to have a good night's sleep.
