The only bad thing about our room was the bathroom. The shower was so small and only surrounded by acurtain so it was always flooded

Hotel location is great, just two blocks away from the road that connects you to shops and restaurants. Within a 3-20 minute walk are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a great size for our family of four.

I would stay with Fosshótel Barón again. It was quiet, had a lovely breakfast with lots of variety…and options for latte or cappuccino or coffee. The location was very walkable to restaurants, shopping and sites. Thank you for a delightful stay.

The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. The shower was hot and the bed comfy. Perfect location, 3 minute walk from Laugavegur, close to the harbour and a lovely viewing spot out to sea and the northern lights if you’re lucky! Parking at the hotel is expensive but there is cheaper parking close by.
