Good value

I stopped by just to get a roof over my head during a cross country drive. Good value for money. Room was as expected. I like the usage of refillable containers in the bathroom. Pillows were a little firm to my liking and all pillows were the same, so no opportunity to mix and match. Tiny details... They have a fitness center but I went to the local gym instead as it was too basic. Nice with included breakfast. This property has some improvements to be done on the management side. The breakfast area was used as the employee break room. When I got there, an employee sat there on their phone. Texting and talking. After a while, another employee joined and discussed their dissatisfaction with the management. It went on for the remaining time of my breakfast. Breakfast was wrapped up before the actual closing time, the employee seemed very eager to knock out the task and get out the door. I went from breakfast to check out, and other guests were waiting by the counter. Nobody behind the counter. No notes or messages when they would be back. Another employee came looking for the counter staff but was not to be found. They told us "It might be a few minutes, maybe they went to the restroom...". Eventually, me and the other guests left the keys on the counter and we self checked out. Overall, I think it was a good stay and good value for the price. If you want to up your game, the first step would be to figure out how to make employees care about what they do.

Ok for a nights stay.

Dated, especially the bathroom, but was a great place to stop and get a good nights rest during our trip South. Disappointing that they advertise one price on line but uncharge you if you don’t reserve it on line. Also, they charged us a $20 pet fee, when their email confirmation said it was $10. When I questioned it at checkout, they said they would credit my account. We’ll see if that happens.

I will NEVER stay here again. The staff is the ONLY saving grace. I had a ground floor room. The window had no kind of covering so l had to keep the blinds closed so people passing by could not see into the room. It was dusty, moldy something. My partner had a headache the entire time and he had never had this issue. My nose was stuffy. There is NO WIFI. There is NO WAY to add your apps to the TV. We went 3 days having to watch movies and the football game on our phones using a hot spot. There is a screen that advertizes Simucast but it sits not work. Now I'm arguing with my bank to get my money back. Why is it there if it doesn't work? The walls are paper thin. I could hear the people next to and above us the whole weekend. 2 stars. Nice comfy bed. Nice helpful staff.
