He AC didn’t work and there’s cockroaches everywhere, including giant ones in our room. We endured AC-less nights for 2 nights, and once we found roaches inside the unit on the 3rd night, we were out. I know, it’s the Caribbean, it’s warm and wet which is perfect for roaches. But if you charge $300+ a night, you better get rid of all of them…and have your AC actually work. Plus, actually have your doors close. I wouldn’t be posted a 1 star if they charged $100. Since the pool is probably the best pool I’ve ever been in. Kids and us loved it. But god damn. The arrogance to charge that high and yet not do basic pest control or AC maintenance is embarrassing. I mean, maybe it’s not embarrassing. It’s Honduras. There is no shame here. The reputation of Honduras is so terrible that there is nothing to protect. Best to make your money and run away into the sunset. Y’all better not delete this.

Great place to stay with combination of the best pools including a new kiddie pool area, tanning area in the water and super nice beach with top notch snorkleing out by the rope area! Great shore diving as well and top notch dive teams The food prices at the resort have gotten very high since they add on a handling fee and taxes etc. But there is great restaurants along the beach to choose from also

Everything made an ideal vacation - from the diving, to the beaches and the staff. The staff were excellent. My only negative comment is that if you do not purchase the all inclusive, then the drinks and food were over priced - especially with the taxes. But I would definitely go again.

I am writing this review while waiting in line for check-out, and I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can make an informed choice. While the restaurant by the beach attached to the hotel was the only positive aspect—staff there were polite, and the no-outside-alcohol policy is completely reasonable—the rest of the resort falls far short of even basic expectations. From the front desk to the cleaning staff (if you can even call them that) and everyone in between, the lack of customer service is noticeable. Guests are made to feel unwelcome, uncomfortable, and are hit with unnecessary fees at every turn. The shuttles are inconsistent, and after a discussion with the manager about it, staff sent what they called “cleaners” to my room—a woman accompanied by a man not in uniform—who entered without asking and began taking photos of the entire room under the pretense that our phone wasn’t working. We never complained about a phone, nor even knew one was there. This felt invasive and unprofessional. While this resort may look nice online, the reality of the experience left a lot to be desired. If you’re visiting the area, there are other options that offer a better balance of service, value, and professionalism. I would recommend looking at the Kimpton or Henry Morgan resorts—they are often more affordable and consistently provide the level of hospitality you would expect on vacation.
