Easy to find and easy to stay!

The location in Rome is easy to find from the train station and one feels as if you are in a charming small village as the rooms are accessible via a lovely atrium with fountain.

Location and breakfast were the main reasons for choosing Amaranto. Access a bit complicated with stairs and elevator for my sister with a mobility issue. Clean and comfortable beds. Met our basic needs.

Your Roman Holiday Homebase Awaits!

Amaranto Romano was the perfect place for my sister and I to come back to after a long day of exploring Rome and Pompeii. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious by European standards, and the courtyard location gauranteed a safe environment and quiet night's sleep. The hotel location was easily walkable to all of the sites in Rome and being near the main train station was very convenient for our travel needs. We took the train from the airport to Termini Station and easily walked the 8ish minutes with our bags to Amaranto Romano. We also took a day trip to Pompeii and having the train station nearby was perfect for our early departure. And we used the train station one last time when we departed Rome for Florence. There are a lot of dining options within a few minutes of the hotel whether you would like a lovely sit down dinner or a perfect take-away pizza that's just around the corner from the hotel. There is also a delightful gelato shop (Verde Pistachio) that is dangerously close to the hotel but after walking miles and miles all day, you earned it. Treat yourself!
The hotel is in a courtyard and shares a building with businesses and other small hotels.
The hotel is about a 17 minute walk to the Colosseum
Just a few doors down from the hotel is this delicious gelateria!
We definitely enjoyed trying different flavors at the gelateria near the hotel

I loved my stay in Amaranto Romano. The location was very convenient, near to dining options, mini markets and easy to explore the highlights of Rome. The room was always tidy when we went back and the air conditioning from the lobby was very welcoming after a day exploring during the hot summer. Thanks to the location, we were able to come back mid day to freshen up, take a shower and continue the other half of the day exploring. I would suggest having a fridge inside the room. The electric plugs did not seem to be standard in our room, so we couldn’t use the iron when needed, fortunately the staff was helpful lending us one that worked for our electronics.

Room we were given looked nothing like the pics. Shower head didn't work bathroom sink lever broken tv didn't work. Room was very old and run down. Avoid if your staying longer than 1 day.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and they made sure the stay was very comfortable during the visit. They even helped with information around the places to visit around Rome and the cuisines to try which was indeed worth it. Also since we had an early checkout they provided packed breakfast a day prior which was very handy.

Good location and comfy

The room was comfortable. As per Rome, the shower was very small but I am petit and able to fit well. The set up was good. There is not much verbal communication as to fee for transport or keys placement when checking out. Pay attention to posted written signs.
