Stay here!! Location is amazing! Everything is walkable. The hotel is an old building but has so much charm and everything you could want for your stay. The stand out for sure is the staff. All the reviews I read talked about Monica. Well they were all right. She is amazing!!! From helping us navigate Rome to restaurant suggestions to train tickets! I can’t say enough!! Thank you!!

Staff was super friendly and helped with reservations and taxi needs. Room was quite large and spacious. The only downside was the shower/tub. The shower head made it to where you had to get really close to the front edge of the tub to get it to go over your head. The shower half door wasn’t sealed well so water would spill out and the tub was so deep that it was difficult to step out without worrying about falling. Overall we would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved staying at the Relais Maddalena during our recent trip to Rome. The staff was great and their hospitality was excellent. We loved the location of being able to walk to the Pantheon and Trivi Fountain as well as the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

I liked the location. Some of the staff were pleasant. I did not like no elevator. There were 23 steps we had to go up and down each time we went out. We had to drag our luggage down the steps when we left the hotel. The room decor left a lot to be desired. In my opinion the place was one step above a dump.

amazing hidden treasure. wonder fill desk staff and the lady who gets breakfast together was perfect. the lack of elevator was tough but front desk lady helped me carry my luggage up stairs

Wonderful!! Beautiful hotel within a few hundred feet of the pantheon with dozens of dining options. Monica was outstanding and super knowledgeable, recommending places to eat including one (pasta in Corso) that we loved so much we visited 5 times! Very clean and comfortable room with a complimentary bottle of wine too. Can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is in a one of the busiest areas of Rome and close to most tourist attractions. It’s a small hotel, but provides all necessary services. The staff and particularly Monica is very friendly and helpful.
