I booked a room through expedia for 4 people but on arrival i was told that this room is for 3 people only so you need to pay more for an additional room. I showed them the confirmed reservation from expedia that they didn’t honour and instead sent us to another hotel, away from the train station, and forced us to pay for another room. Expedia didn’t play any role in the resolution. I had young kids with me and we were tired after 14 hours of journey so has no option other than paying for the additional room. We suffered additional 3 hours. I would recommend to stay away from this hotel and Expedia.

It was a 5 minute walk to Roma Termini which was great! Our room was clean, had lots of towels and very comfortable beds with nice bedding. The area around the hotel was quiet at night which was great as we didn’t have any street noise or noise from the hotel. It was nice to have breakfast included as we could have a quick bite and a coffee in the morning before starting our day. My only complaint was that the water filling station was only on in the morning to fill our water bottles. Thankfully there are fountains all over Rome we could use. Overall, a great hotel!

Bait and Switch room booking

Expedia / Hotels.com allows booking of 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) but when you check into the hotel they tell you the room cannot accommodate 4 people and end up charging you for an extra person. It’s a bait and switch marketing tactic so I would be careful if you are booking for 4 guests. The Hotel ended up charging me a larger additional fee per night.

Great Location and Friendly Spot

Fantastic hotel. First it is a great location, really easy to walk to major sites all across Rome, we were at the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain with kids within 20-25 mins of a nice easy walk. The rooms are pretty nice size when you get a family room, A/C is super cold and works great, which is important for Rome in the Summer! Even with traveling with a big hectic group with lots of kids and luggage the staff was great. Breakfast was also fantastic, really good food. I appreciate the gluten free extras for family members that have to eat gluten free. All around a great spot, we will be back.

Great, updated little boutique hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very well appointed and very comfortable! Great beds and fantastic AC that made the hot summer weather bearable and made coming back to the hotel something that we looked forward to. The bathroom was great with an excellent shower with great water pressure. We enjoyed the area, lots of great restaurants nearby, and many places of interested in walking distance! We would absolutely stay here again in the future and would recommend it highly!

I recently stayed at a hotel in Rome and overall had a really pleasant experience. The standout feature was definitely the location, it’s very conveniently situated near the main train station and the subway, which made getting around the city super easy. Even better, many of Rome’s most iconic attractions were within walking distance. We were able to walk to the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps without any hassle. The neighborhood felt safe and had plenty of cafes nearby. While the hotel itself wasn’t overly luxurious, it was clean and comfortable, which was all I really needed since I spent most of the time exploring the city. Breakfast is amazing! If you’re looking for a well-located base to explore Rome without breaking the bank, this place definitely delivers.
