The check in person was sullen and hard to understand. The bathtub was moldy so neither of us wanted to bathe. There was only one set of towels and we were unable to get more. First trip down from the third floor (no elevators) the clerk said they didn't have any. 2nd trip- no one at the desk. 3rd trip we were given 3 bath mats and 1 bath tower, all dirty and stained. The maintenance man came to replace 2 lightbulbs and said he'd get us some towels. He never came back. The neighbor hood was sketchy,. That's hard to know when booking online. Checking out was simple, but I could not get a receipt with the hotel name. Price, and date all on the same page. We will not be back...ever!

For what thing they don’t ever give you clean towels they never change your linen and also the TV never worked. It never gave us the remote to it. The service was very bad. They need to figure this out because they’re gonna lose all their customers and nobody’s gonna wanna come here again that’s what I have to say

I had a good stay at California Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Check in was smooth, and everything was well maintained. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would stay here again.

Roaches constantly popping up in the restroom. Had to sleep with the bathroom lights on throughout my stay in hopes of them staying away. Ended up killing 5 of them regardless. The upside was that it was literally across the street from major shopping centers and a great Ramen place was right behind the building.

The room was a mess. Locks on door ripped off. Bathroom faucet not attached to counter. Smelled bad. Smoke detectors ripped off ceiling. They have residents living there. Very run down. Bed had fitted sheet and blanket. No top sheet, no bedspread or comforter. Fridge didn’t work. Asked for refund. They said they would talk to manager. Nothing yet.

Mold in bathroom around tub. Quite a few unsavory/questionable people talking/yelling loudly throughout the night. At 62 I was a bit afraid for my safety as I was put in a room upstairs away from the stairs. There was also a cat in a room windows that scared me immensely.. It jumped up and hissed at me EVERY time I had to pass by.

I booked a room from 10-31-25 to 11-2-25 in in suite 107 I was in front office for like 5 mins no one came to help me I called no answer I called from room phone no answer I’ve been calling trying to reach someone since 7:09 pm still no answer so now I’m reaching out by email this is inconvience because I’m disabled one ac doesn’t work in room I haven’t had no microwave no smoke detectors at all I need fresh towel linens soap tissue so who do I contact I paid my $ for 2 nights this is not right also before checking out we had to kill 1 roach and 1 roach was dead so we checked out and told the front desk about this and showed her the video she was going to let owner know but I’ve yet to hear from anyone Please call me back Linda Musa 5105935552
