No one was answering the phone to set up a taxi ahead of time so we waited a long time when we arrived at 1am. Our first night there were cockroaches in our room. We moved to another room but the bed was so hard that we woke up every morning with a back ache. The food at the resort was horrible. Not a lot of variety for non seafood eaters. My husband often got sick from the food. There is no 24 hour shuttle to the airport. The pool was cold and had algae in it. We paid extra for Level lounge and couldn’t even swim. Half the time towels were taken and not replaced. The jacuzzi tub was disgusting. Pool towels had to be paid for and then we got a refund after. Not all of the food was all inclusive. Some meals you had to pay an extra fee for certain options. Some restaurants required VIP access. They didn’t always respond to their What’s App messages which was the main means of communication. Oh and the mosquitos ate us alive.
The drinks were great and the staff were amazing. Thank you Helio, Shirley, Nicole, Rosani, Danielson, Andre, Yuran the breakfast staff at Cafe Nostra and Level Lounge bar.
